-Ranger Bio-
Tazz - This 27 year old has been traveling through space, time and dimensions so much he is becoming travel logged. He has trained on Yavin 4 to become a Jedi, he has been to the future to fight evil, and he has seen the death of a Ranger icon. His accomplishments include being a master Jedi, Triple third degree black belt, History Teacher, and ranger historian. He returns to his true time and finds it is good to be home but with coming home he discovers that he has come just in time to stop a new evil from destroying Earth. Hoping to draw from the powers of his last team he summons for as many of the Jedi Force rangers that can come through the time portal. Marcus and Cayce respond and with Tazz form the Mystic Jedi Rangers. Tazz is able to use force lighting, battle mediation, and many other universal force powers in battle.

Marcus - the son of the original black ranger Zack. With a strong martial arts background he is one of the strongest and most agile among the rangers. He can handle any enemy that he faces and most of the time he doesn't need to do it morphed. When he gets the call from Tazz in the past he waist no time in deciding to join him. He knows it will be a challenge to adapt to a time when he was only 4 but he knows that Tazz is counting on him to help defeat this new threat. His age is physically 18 however by coming back in time 15 years he truly has no age anymore. He may still be the youngest member of the team but he knows that he is an important link in the team. Like most rangers before him, he will be the first to tell you that he doesn't like to fight, it’s just something that has to be done when trouble is around.

Cayce - The daughter of the first pink ranger Kimberly, Cayce is no stranger to the athletic demands that being a ranger involves. She brings speed, agility and a sense of extreme compassion to the rangers. She however is confused by her powers but at the same time she is honored to be continuing the legacy her mom helped started back in 1993. Cayce is the smallest ranger but she packs a major punch when she needs to. Responding to the call from the past looking for a challenge again, she is quick to inform her mom and former ranger friends of her diction. Excited that Marcus is going with her she says good by to 2021 and hello to 2006. Being the Pink Jedi Knight is nothing like she expected though, but she is ready for what lies ahead for herself and her friends.

Ashley - A 19 year old tae-kwon-do black belt at Crystal Bay Karate School, where Tazz is the new owner and is the master instructor. Tazz shows Ashley the ways of the force in private sessions and she is the obvious choice when Tazz is looking for his final ranger. Ashley is very competitive and never likes to loose. Devoting an entire life to learning the art of tae-kwon-do, Ashley knows when its time to talk and when its time to fight. However; fighting seems to get her message across a lot better most of the time. Ashley is reluctant when Tazz first tells her about becoming a Jedi ranger but soon finds out that being a ranger can have its advantages. Epically when it comes to the new friends she has now. Ashley is able to balances college, karate, a relationship and being a ranger with great ease and is not one to slip from anything. Once the mind is made up Ashley delivers. And the delivery is with a powerful and explosive guarantee.

Justin - Having been only 11 when he was part of the Turbo Rangers, Justin Stewart has moved on with his life, but has never forgotten what it was like to be a ranger. Now 9 years later he will find out again what it means to be a ranger. He feels the power of the force when Tazz shows him a way to channel it into his body. Drawing on his past as a ranger he knows the importance of keeping the information that he is the blue ranger a secret. Justin uses his past experience to help with more than just combat. Tommy also feels more at ease helping the new rangers now that Justin is around. Wearing blue again will give Justin the chance to show both Tommy and Tazz that he is as powerful now as any ranger, past present or future.

Shawn - At 20 years old Shawn has only been on his own for a couple of years, but in that time he has learned a lot. An avid street-pro drag racer Shawn is right at home on the track. Shawn is also a second degree black belt. Shawn can fight with the best and even shows Serge that he does not need ranger powers to fight him. Shawn can use the force just as the other rangers and he is well accustomed to hiding his abilities. Ridiculed in school for being different he found a way to channel his powers for good and help people. Shawn can be real comical but can also be dead serious when he has to be. Never wanting to back down from a challenge Shawn always takes things to the next level. Shawn prizes his trucks but when Marcus leaves the Mustang GT to him Shawn take a second look at witch vehicle is truly his favorite to drive.

Danielle - A 19 year old master magician, Danielle has spent the last year looking for her twin sister who was separated from her at birth. Raised by a family of witches and warlocks, Daniel thrives of danger and adventure. Her ability to mimic the for force powers used by Tazz and Ashley allows her to feel the force within her when they are around. More than anything Danielle is looking for peace with herself and her sister. While not as agile and not as open about herself as Ashley is, she still lets it all hang out when its time for battle. Developer of the force enhanced Jedi Poles, Danielle knows her way around the work bench too. Never wanting to be out done she is always wanting harder challenges on tighter deadlines. Danielle has always hid her magic and now she feels there will be no problem hiding that she is a ranger. She feels that action is around the corner and she knows she is always ready. She is also the one that gives Ashley the ability to use Dominate Mind and a new force speed attack.

-Friends and Allies bio-
Dr. Tommy Oliver - The most legendary power ranger from the past. Tommy has seen his share of battle and his share of villains. Starting in 1993 Tommy became the green ranger and when those powers ran out he was given the power of the white tiger. Tommy then went on to become the White ninja ranger followed by the Red Zeo Ranger. After graduating from high school he remained the red ranger only this time shifting into high gear as the Red Turbo ranger. In 2004 Tommy has finish college, become a respected member of the science community, and moved to Reefside. That is when his friend Dr. Mercer fell victim to an experiment gone bad. To combat this he enlist the help of three of his students. He becomes the mentor to the Dino Thunder rangers and when Tommy goes missing they learn of the history of the power rangers. Except for Tazz. Tommy is rescued and is able to recover the black dino gem. He uses its powers to become the Black Dino Ranger and come full circle in his quest of helping the rangers. Now its time to show Tazz and his group of rangers that he can still help even if he is not going to be a ranger himself. Maybe this time he can do what he started to do in 2004.

Hayley - The Mystic Jedi Rangers look to Hayley for technical support in the Base. She went to college where she met Tommy, and is a graduate of MIT. In 2004 she designed the Dino Morphers and a great deal of the other weapons; including the Raptor Cycles that the Dino Rangers used. She modifies several of the previous weapons and even redesigns the Raptor Cycles into the Jedi Speeders to aid the Jedi Rangers. Hayley is the only one that knows about the time portal that was used to bring Cayce and Marcus back in time to assist Tazz. She also is one of the few mortals to never morph in assisting a non profession style team of rangers. Hayley also runs the Cyberspace cafe in Reefside, with the assistance of the up and coming pop star Kira and soccer expert Conner. Hayley has never though of herself as one that could change the world, but she sure is good at helping.

Jason - The original red power ranger and later the gold Zeo ranger, Jason has been out of the game a long time. He is the one that has brought an award winning martial arts exhibit to Crystal Bay to display permanently. Jason as volunteered to help Tazz out at the Karate School as well as helping the rangers in the base anytime he is needed. Jason knows what its like to be a ranger and he will help the others learn and be true leaders. Jason will be a prime target for attack but knowing Jason's attitude he will be able to handle that with no problem. Tommy and Jason have been friends every since Rita's spell on Tommy was broken. That friendship is still strong and the two are able to reflect on their past while looking to the future. How long will Jason stay to help the rangers? Only Jason knows the answer to that, but one thing is for sure he will leave his mark on the rangers and Crystal Bay before he leaves. Jason is the only one to have seen The Cloaked figure outside of a battle.

Cloaked Figure - A mysterious figure has shown up and has caused great pain for Serpentine and his crew. Dressed in a full body robe with a hood that completely obscures her face, she has assisted the rangers by providing their battle poles and information on how to destroy a monster they were battling. Whether or not her identity is learned by the rangers she has already assisted them in their fight against evil. Knowing that Jason and Hayley are assisting the rangers is an advantage Serpentine would love to have, but capturing The Cloak has proven very difficult. What is her next move in helping the rangers or will she turn her back on them and join Serpentine? For now she seems to be happy helping the rangers in their battles. Turns out to be Ashley's Twin sister and the new Pink ranger.

-Episode 1 Back in Time-

Year 2021 – Cayce, Sam and Marcus are enjoying the day of relaxation when Tun comes up with a news holodeck from 2006. She shows them the story about a group of rangers that defend Crystal Bay for over 3 years before finally defeating the threat. Cayce comments that the picture only shows five rangers and their suits look a bit scary. As Cayce starts to add a comment about 2006 Cayce's and Marcus's communicators ring out a familiar tone.

Year 2006 – As Tazz has settled into his new life of Karate teacher and Karate School owner in Crystal Bay, he is unaware of the trouble that is brewing in the forested region just north of town. Having heard several rumors of a futuristic device, found by a group of high school students and for public display in the parking lot of the high school, Tazz heads over to find out more about the device and to see if it is the missing portal probe, which he and Tommy sent when stabilizing the wormhole. When he walks up to the crowd of people gathered around the object and listens to the student talk about the communication devices that are on it and how most of the parts are not working. While listening to the student, he spots a female figure he is puzzled to see. He gets closer making sure not to let anyone notice him, and confirms that Cheetah has made the time jump from the future. He remembers seeing Cheetah and several other individuals in New Tech City on several occasions but he cannot figure out why they would follow him back to 2006. As she leaves Tazz follows her using his stealth powers and skills to stay close to here and not loose site. However when she slips into a thicket of trees, he decides not to follow and return home.

As Tazz walks into the house, he heads straight to the TV and turns it on. He finds the news and waits to see if they are interested in the probe as well. When they cut into their program to announce an attack at the high school by unknown minions Tazz is quick to react. He heads to the case containing the redesigned morphers and weapons from the future. Tazz pulls out the red morpher and without any hesitation morphs and teleports to the school. Tazz fights the group of minions until they take off deterred by the new defender. Tazz does not stick around to receive thanks; he returns to the house and contacts Cayce and Marcus through the computer that he designed to work with the communicators. Cayce and Marcus respond just seconds later and ask how soon he needs them. Tazz informs them that they need to arrive within the hour or he will not be able to defend against a major attack alone. Cayce tells Tazz that they will be their shortly and for him to have everything ready to go. Tazz agrees and ends the communication. As he ponders what he should do about the remaining two morphers, he remembers an instructor at his Karate school. He thinks that since Justin was once a ranger he would be able to fill that role again. Tazz also thinks about a young black belt student named Ashley. While pondering if these two would make the best rangers he receives a data text from the future with the message “there in thirty minutes”. Tazz makes the phone call to Justin and fills him in on the attack. He also informs Justin that he is aware that he was the blue turbo ranger, and would like him to become a ranger again. Justin agrees and asks where to meet. Tazz tells him to find Ashley and the two of them meet him at his home. Justin agrees and hangs up the phone. Tazz programs the wormhole to open in the power lab and exit into his living room.

Year 2021 – Cayce and Marcus have made the comment to the others that Tazz has asked for their assistance. Knowing that she may never see her friends again, she tells each of them that she will not forget the past year or any of their friendships. Marcus, being a bit less emotional simply tells each of them goodbye before leaving to talk to his dad and grab a few things to take with him. Sam gives Cayce a hologram picture box with several pictures of them together and one of all 10 people that made the past year possible. Marcus meanwhile has told his dad about leaving and helping Tazz once again as a ranger. After talking and saying goodbye to their family and friends Marcus and Cayce meet at the power lab and enter using a complex code on the keypad. Marcus comments how it was easier to teleport in. They enter the wormhole not knowing what to expect on the other side but ready to find out.

Year 2006 – As Tazz monitors the news stories on the minion attacks, Cayce and Marcus come through the wormhole only twenty minutes after sending the call back to Tazz. He fills the two teens in about the minion attacks and informs them of the abilities they have. He adds that the minions are not as strong as the troopers they faced before but the minions attack in larger numbers and in multiple waves. As Tazz continues to give the teens the information he has, there is a knock on the back door. Tazz ask Cayce to let Justin and Ashley inside, and to show them down to the basement were they are setting up a new base. Cayce heads to the door to find the two waiting on her. She introduces herself and takes them to the room that Tazz is using to finalize everything.

As Tazz removes the contents of the case in front of them, he hands each of them a new morpher and communicator. Justin asks what the other two communicators are for and Tazz tells him that they will be for anyone he trusts to assist in the fight. Cayce makes the comment that they are for Tommy and Hayley. Tazz smiles and tells them that he will see if they truly need their help. Justin tells Tazz that if needed he has access to Mountain Blaster from when he was a Turbo Ranger. Tazz thanks him and tells him that they may need it but for now, they will work on defeating the current attack. Ashley inquires as to why they are the ones that have to become rangers and stop the threat. Tazz responds by telling her that for the four of them, being a ranger is something that they accepted before and if they do not battle the new evil then Crystal Bay will be the first of many cities to fall to evil. Ashley tells him it is a good enough reason for her and she is ready. Justin adds that he is ready to get back to being a ranger as well.

Tazz tells the others that the five of them will have to work as a team and they are all bringing different skills and abilities to the team. He tells Justin that he will be the blue jedi knight, just as he wore blue before. He continues by telling the others their new colors and finishing with Cayce as he tells her that she will once again wear pink. Cayce comments that she cannot wait to try her new powers. Tazz shows them the simple morphing sequence and tells them that they do not have much time before another attack happens. Justin comments to Ashley that keeping their identity a secret is important. He adds that their powers need to work to fight evil and not to benefit their own needs. Tazz agrees and they start to set up the satellite surveillance system.

Meanwhile the minion attacks have increased, as they get closer to the high school. Tazz figures that they have been sent to recover the probe but without knowing how to convince the students to give it to him for safe keeping, he figures that the team will just need to counter the attacks. The team morphs and arrives at the field just off campus. They rush to catch the minions before they can get to the parking lot. As they confront the minions, they react to their half hazard attack. Ashley is able to land some impressive scissor kicks as the minions keep coming at her. Working together Justin and Marcus are able to take down several of the minions with some precise sword strikes. Tazz and Cayce are quick to finish off the remaining few before a new threat presents itself near a group of parked cars.

Surprised by the presents of this new group of rangers, Serge is quick to form a mushroom shaped creature and gives him a powerful toxic mustard sleeping gas attack. Serge tells Serpentine that his monster can retrieve the probe once he puts the rangers to sleep and destroys them. Serpentine commends him and sends Mushroom Top to attack the rangers. Before letting him leave, Serge gives him a sword that will aid him in his fight.

As the rangers regroup from the minion attack, they receive a powerful spray of toxic gas from Mushroom Top. The rangers can feel the effects of the gas penetrate their breathing, however; the helmets limit the affect. Tazz orders a retreat and the others teleport back to the house. Tazz however uses a controlled breathing ability to get to the probe and grab it before teleporting. Once all the rangers are back at the house, Tazz tells them, that they are going to need a way to combat the gas. Cayce tells Tazz that Hayley may be able to help and she should be at the cyber café. As each of them place air purification mask over their mouths and noses, Tazz tells Justin to go find Tommy and Hayley. Justin is quick to teleport to the cyber café were he finds Hayley. He tells her about the events in Crystal Bay and asks if she would be willing to help. She tells him she will and asks if Tommy would be a help too. Justin laughs and tells her that was his next stop. Hayley calls Tommy and fills him in and in no time, he is at the cyber café. Justin hands each of them the communicators and tells them Tazz is waiting. They teleport and arrive in time to see Mushroom Top attacking a local hotel with his sleeping gas. Tazz welcomes them and fills them in on everything that has gone on. Tommy comments on the clothes Cayce and Marcus are wearing, and Tazz explains that they are from 2021. This shocks Tommy but he understands that it is possible after the events that happened with the Dino Thunder team and S.P.D. As they scan the surveillance, they see that Mushroom Top has been in many districts of the city. Hayley ask if the helmets they have are working to neutralize the gas. Cayce informs her that they are working enough for them to escape the attack. Having removed the air purifiers in the basement were they were now working Hayley takes them and starts to work on modifying the helmets to be even stronger against the gas. Tommy tells Tazz that Mushroom Top seems to be interested in putting everyone to sleep and finding the probe that Tazz took. Justin asks what makes the probe so important it does not look like anything from the future. Hayley tells them that it is because the probe itself is not but the communication devices within it are. Tazz explains that they modified the probe to serve a purpose of checking the wormhole and when they tried to retrieve it, the wormhole closed on them.

Hayley finishes her modifications on the rangers’ helmets and hands them back to each ranger. She tells them that the gas should not affect them at all, but if it gets through, they will have about ten minutes of air available. The rangers thank her and after locating Mushroom Top decide its time to take him down. After teleporting to Mushroom Top’s new location, the rangers are quick to go on the offensive and attack. Cheetah, who has been keeping an eye on Mushroom Top and knows that he can use any help he can get, decides to release a large group of minions to assist. Tazz and Marcus respond with a force lighting strike that hits the majority of the minions. As the others rely on their martial arts skills, Tazz and Marcus rely on their force powers. Cayce uses a series of leaping windmill kicks to take out some of the minions permanently. Ashley and Justin use their inherited teamwork from the karate school to work over a small group with a tag team approach. As they use a series of kicks rolling over the backs of each other to attack with surprise and accuracy. As they finish off the last few minions, Ashley rolls over the back of Justin and connects with a minion’s head squarely knocking him out. The remaining minions retreat leaving Mushroom Top alone to fight the rangers. Tazz is then able to attack Mushroom Top with a combination of a force choke and lighting strike, which Marcus and Cayce make more powerful by using lighting strikes at the same time as Tazz. As Tazz crushes Mushroom Top with his force powers, the monster falls lifelessly to the ground. Tazz knows that if he does not destroy Mushroom Top then Cheetah will increase the size of the monster and knowing they have no zords to battle an enlarged monster Tazz pulls his blaster from his belt and fires five lethal shots into the body. Tazz turns to avoid viewing the explosion that he causes.

Serpentine scolds Serge and Niño for the monster’s failure. Cheetah monitors the rangers before they teleport back and notice the strange weapon hanging from the red rangers’ belt. She ponders what the weapon is, but Serpentine interrupts her thoughts by yelling at her. As Cheetah realizes that Serpentine is yelling about the rangers helmets she tells him that the helmets had a protection built into them and Serge would have not known this when he built the monster. Serpentine calms down before disappearing into a private chamber.

As the team returns to base Tazz tells them that the fight will only get harder as time works against their enemy. Cayce and Marcus agree with Tazz as the team powers down. Tazz tells them all to return to their normal lives until the next attack. Cayce and Marcus laugh and ask what they are supposed to do as a normal life. Tazz tells them that they are welcome to live in the house above with him and that all of them will use the Karate School as a way to workout and lead normal lives. The team agrees and thanks Tommy and Hayley for agreeing to help as well. Tazz asks Marcus and Cayce to stay behind as he pulls another case from under the center island of computers. As he opens it, Cayce smiles and knows she is getting her lightsaber back. Marcus ask if it is wise that they use the weapons with Ashley and Justin not knowing the power of the weapon. Tazz tells them that the lightsabers are for a last resort weapon but it is best for them to have them at all times. Cayce takes her saber and smiles as she powers it up. Marcus does the same and notices that the blue blade turns green as it calibrates to his new powers. Tazz thanks them again and heads upstairs.

-Episode 2 Unity-

The team has not done much together since they teamed up, except for working out together at the karate school. Tazz has held several private sessions with each of the other rangers to work on their force abilities and to help them control the powers that morphing gives them. For Cayce, Marcus and Justin this is not a challenge since they have all been rangers before, but for Ashley it is more of a challenge due to her lack of experience. Tazz spends extra time with her and puts more effort into showing her how to balance her developing force powers with here fighting skills. He tells her that she cannot rely on just one to defeat her opponents. She must use her mind and her fist to win battles. As the week has ended, Marcus and Cayce take some advice Hayley has given them about going to shop for some new clothes that fit better in 2006. While they shop at several stores, Ashley and Justin are working out together at the karate school. After teaching a class, Justin decides that the two of them need to work on their sword combat and takes two blunt wood replica swords from one of the equipment lockers. He throws one to Ashley and gives her little warning before taking the first shot at her.

In town, Cayce is hesitant of buying new clothes due to how she feels in them. Marcus comments that in fifteen years everything in the store will be what the homeless are wearing. Cayce spots a sign that she knows from the future and pulls Marcus in. A great selection of clothes waits as they walk and find several items they like. Cayce comments on how they look like clothes she has seen before. Marcus comments that Ashley wears clothes a lot like the ones she is selecting. Cayce smiles and buys several different outfits along with two extra pairs of pants that are camouflage in color and design. Marcus buys three pair of jeans and a few t-shirts along with a sweater and a jacket. They pay for their clothes and walk out. On their way out to the truck they borrowed from Tazz their communicators go off and they get to the truck before answering do to the large amount of people in the area.

Meanwhile at the karate school Justin and Ashley continue with their workout until they cannot go anymore and fatigue forces them to rest. Ashley walks over to the fridge in Tazz’s office and grabs a couple of power drinks for them. As she returns and hands the drink to Justin, there is a knock on the glass door. Ashley opens the door for the two youths that are dressed in their karate outfits. They are out of breath and it takes a couple minutes before they can tell what happened to them in the parking lot across the street from the karate school. Having been in the back and the only glass being the door that faced in the wrong direction Justin and Ashley were unaware anything happened. The boys tell them of a group of black and white faced men in suits jumping out at them with swords. As the boys continue their story to Ashley, Justin decides to contact Tazz to find out where he is and if he is able to confirm the story. Ashley comforts the two boys while Justin is away, and knowing she cannot just morph in front of them she decides to try her best to get information from them. Justin returns and tells Ashley she got a hold of Tazz and he is on his way to the school as they speak.

Tazz is leaving the Cyber Café as his communicator goes off. He heads back inside and finds Hayley, who he has been talking to for the past few hours. The two go into a secure area and answer Justin’s call. Justin tells Tazz about the minion attack on the students and includes that the students stated that about four or five jumped them. Tazz tells Justin to keep the school open and just to focus on the safety of the kids. Tazz has Hayley contact Cayce and Marcus and decides to teleport to base then head over to karate school to check on his students. Hayley mentions she will wait for the all of them at the base and will contact Tommy as soon as she gets there. Tazz agrees and teleports as Hayley sends the alert to Cayce. Tazz arrives at the karate school and finds all four rangers already there. He tells one of the other black belts to take care of the students while he and the others find out what happened across the street. Tazz leads the way finding only a group of busted crates in front of one of the many vans parked in the lot. Ashley walks over to the pile of busted crates and examines them closely. She tells the others that the minions busted out of the crates when they attacked. Noticing three more crates just like the ones that sit busted, Tazz and Marcus walk over to the stack and tell the others to be ready for anything. They open the crates and find nothing. Tazz contacts Hayley and ask her if she can locate the minions from the attack. Hayley responds by telling them that Tommy is working on it and for them to return to base for some new weapons she has finished.

As the rangers finish up at the parking lot and teleport back to base, Cheetah and Serge are complementing Nino on the attack against the karate students. At the same time Serge puts the final touches on his latest creation. Serge tells Cheetah that the desert has inspired his latest creation. Cheetah looks the cactus over tells Serge that while the sword wilding cactus is a threatening looking monster it needs more. Serge ponders then injects a strong poison into the creature. He tells Cheetah that now all the spikes will contain powerful paralyzing poisons that will stop the rangers in their tracks. Cheetah praises him on his monster and after making it full size they present it to Serpentine. Serpentine is impressed with Cactus Jack and instructs him and Cheetah to launch an attack immediately. He adds that they are to send a minion attack ahead of them to try to ware down the rangers.

As Tazz watches the surveillance of the minions, he asks Tommy if he could track them past the forest line. Tommy explains that he does not have the technology to track them in such a dense area. Hayley tells them that the parts inside the probe can most likely be use to create a bridge into the forest. Tazz walks over to Hayley and ask her how possible it is to have it done. Hayley explains that it will not take long to strip the parts, but to build the signal bridge will take some time. Tazz tells her that he appreciates her time and efforts to help. Marcus and Ashley ask if they can help with the strip down of the probe. Hayley accepts their offer as she finishes up with her latest project. As Tazz tells the two teens to hold off until after they figure out why the minions attacked, Hayley presents each of them with a pair of weapons. She hands Tazz the first pair and tells the rangers that the Jedi saber and dagger are made of a special combination of carbon steel and a special alloy made only after 2017. Tazz smiles and tells her he is impressed at how she put the alloy to good use. Hayley hands the rest of the sabers and daggers to the other rangers explaining that she designed the tri-alloy composite blades to generate an electrical current as well as a fireball when struck together. She continues by telling them that if needed the tips of the five sabers can come together to form an unstoppable fire star. Tazz speaks up and tells them that the saber will transfer their force lighting through the blade and fire off a very powerful lighting strike. Hayley nods just as the alarm sounds. Tommy tells the team that a large minion group is downtown, along with Cheetah and Cactus Jack. Tazz cuts the weapon lesson short and ask if everyone is ready. The team replies in unison that they are ready.

Tazz leads the team in the morphing sequence and teleports to where the minions are. As they start to battle the minions, Tazz spots both Cheetah and Cactus Jack coming straight at him. Tazz breaks free from the minions he is fighting and pulls his new jedi saber. As Cheetah swings her sword at Tazz, he is ability to block her quickly. While fighting with Cheetah, Cactus Jack attacks Tazz from behind. Ashley notices the attack and breaks free from the minions. She dives between Tazz and the monster only to receive a large group of spikes in her chest from the monsters hand. Ashley falls limp to the ground before the poison breaks her suit apart and she lays there in extreme pain. Tazz hears her moans and tells Tommy to teleport her back to base immediately. Cheetah uses the distraction to retreat and leave Cactus Jack to finish off the remaining rangers. The remaining rangers are able to force a second wave of minions to retreat before they join Tazz in the stand off with Cactus Jack. Cayce ask if Ashley is ok and Tazz tells her, he does not know.

Tazz tells the others to be patient and not attack until Cactus Jack attacks them. Cactus Jack is quick to rush the rangers only to get a lighting blast from Marcus and Cayce. This only delays the attack and the four rangers receive a spray of spikes from head to toe from the monster doing a spin attack. Tazz orders a retreat by the others but this does not come before they fall to the ground just as Ashley did. Tazz is able to use his force powers to hold off the poison. He waits until Tommy is able to teleport the other before he teleports himself. Cactus Jack stomps at his lost opportunity. Back at base, Tommy and Hayley are doctoring the wounds caused by the spikes on the rangers when Tazz shows up. Tazz, still morphed, powers down and evaluates the situation. Hayley tells him that the suits have been flooded with poisons that big game hungers normally used in tranquilizer darts. Tazz looks worried knowing that without their suits they cannot securely fight Cactus Jack or any other monster. Tommy speaks up and tells Tazz about the ninja suits they used when they received their ninja powers and zords. Tazz looks puzzled until Tommy continues. He tells of how the ninja suits were under their power suits and protected them from extremely powerful attacks. Hayley ask if the suits are still available or if they could duplicate them. Tommy tells them that duplicating them should be no problem if he had something to work with. Knowing he has several jedi robes, Tazz heads upstairs to retrieve them from his closet. In the process, he checks Marcus and Cayce’s closets for their robes. After gathering up the five robes plus a force sensitive hood he goes back down to the base and gets to work with Hayley on insuring the construction of the suits meet the same requirements that the power suits meet. As they finish the final jedi suit, the alarm sounds again. Tommy tells them that Cactus Jack is attacking the TV station. The rangers power up into their new jedi suits and find themselves rejuvenated as the poison subsides in them. Tazz removes the mask covering his face and explains a simple game plan for attacking the monster.

Hayley explains that the jedi suits will protect them from an indirect attack but not an attack like Ashley took. She adds that their jedi battle suites will need to be equipped before they will be able to use their entire arsenal and destroy the monster. Tazz suggest a stealth attack by Cayce and he fallowed by quick sword attacks by Justin and Ashley and finished off with a lightsaber attack by Marcus. Tommy tells them it might work but at the same time, they will need to use their speed, agility and perfect timing not to hit each other during the attack. Marcus looks at Ashley then Justin as Tazz tells them about the attacks he wishes them to use. The alarm sounds again and the rangers quickly move to teleport. When they arrive, they find that Cactus Jack has used their absence to terrorize the beach area with showers of spikes. Interrupting his fun, Tazz watches Cayce’s stealth attack. He follows with a combination attack of his jedi saber in one hand and his lightsaber in the other. As Tazz moves away, he hears the three strikes from Ashley, Justin and finally Marcus. As the team is able to meet back up, they pull their jedi sabers and call for the fire star. Tazz pulls his morpher and powers up. Doing a power slide through the monster, he slices through the center of the monster. As the monster explodes, Tazz shields his face from the fireball. The others join him powered up and congratulating him.

Serge is furious the rangers destroyed his monster, until serpentine orders the monster to rise again. The rangers quickly back up when the monster grows, until Tommy tells them that backup is on the way. The Jedi assault zords show up and the rangers quickly teleport into the thingypits. Tommy tells the rangers that he found them in a hidden cave behind a waterfall. Tazz takes control of the super sonic jet, Justin finds himself inside the twelve-wheeled tank. Inside the helicopter, Cayce takes control and inside the drill is Marcus. Ashley finds herself in the second jet and in charge of starting the Megazord link system. Tommy tells Ashley to activate Megazord protocol one and two. As the Megazord forms, the rangers move into a center thingypit where they find five control balls. Tazz is quick to call for the Jedi Assault Saber. The zord moves quickly and is unaffected by Cactus Jacks barrage of spikes. The rangers use the shield to land a powerful punch into the monsters head. After several more strong punches from both the zord and Cactus Jack, the rangers regroup. Justin comments that a light attack with the assault saber should destroy the monster permanently. Tazz nods and in unison the five rangers call for an Assault Lighting Strike. The zord raises the sword where a lightning bolt strikes it and charges it to a bright glow. They strike the monster directly as the sword comes down and across at an angle. The zord turns and the explosion from the monster shakes it from the shock.

The rangers return to base they cannot stop talking about the power of the Megazord. Ashley and Cayce head upstairs and start talking about the clothes Cayce had bought and earlier in the day. The others are in the basement talking to Hayley about the probe and the battle suites. Hayley tells them that their suits will have no trace of the poisons by their next use and the she finished striping the probe of parts. She presents the probe to Tazz and he looks puzzled. She tells them that if they are going to use it as bait, than it needs to look the same. Tazz laughs and agrees. Tommy comments on how the team has come together in such a short time and he hopes that Ashley and Justin are able to mature their force powers quickly but slow enough not to get over excited about learning them.

In Serpentine’s base, Serge is yelling at how his monster had no protection from the minions when he was normal size and how the rangers Megazord made it look like a pushover when it was larger. Cheetah tells him that the rangers have many attacks and many weapons. She tells him that they have to develop monsters that can combat these many styles and even combat the powers that the red, blue and pink rangers seem to like to use all the time.

-Episode 3 Mystery of the Exhibit-

Justin dismisses the class of teens he has been teaching for the past hour. As he leaves the room and enters the office, his cell phone rings. Tommy reminds him that the martial arts exhibit will be opening at five that afternoon. As Justin exits the office he notices Ashley walking in with a rather large box in her hands. Justin takes the box and asks what she found out about the mysterious gifts that the school keeps receiving. Ashley opens the office door and removes the envelope with Tazz written across the front of it. Justin asks about the letter and is told that she was asked to give it to Tazz before the museum opens the new exhibit. Justin locks the front door to the school after he posts that the evening classes have been canceled for the event at the museum. As they get into Ashley’s Jeep her phone rings. She answers the call and has a fairly long conversation with Cayce while driving to the museum parking lot. Ashley hangs up the phone just before pulling into the parking lot. The two teens get out and head over to Cayce and her new car where they had agreed to meet up on earlier in the day. Ashley and Cayce hug and laugh when they realize they are wearing almost identical outfits, just in different colors. Justin asks where Tazz, Tommy and Marcus are. Cayce tells them that they should be around shortly.

Meanwhile at the base, Tazz and Hayley are working on yet another weapon for the rangers in there battle against Serpentine. Hayley explains that the weapon may not be as practical as they originally thought, due to the large drain on their force powers. Tazz pauses a moment and nods. He asks if she can continue to work on the weapon in her free time and possibly reduce the force powers needed to power it. Hayley smiles and tells him she will work on it in her available time; however she feels that the jedi speeders are a more pressing project to complete. Tazz agrees as he looks at the time on his cell phone. He informs Hayley he is headed to the museum and he will see her there. Hayley nods and puts away the computer she has been working at.

Hayley waits for Tazz to leave before she opens a set of sealed doors that block a large garage style room. She has had Tazz and Tommy design the room to hold five jedi speeders and the swoop bike that Tazz somehow was able to conceal while in 2020 and then bring with him to 2006. Hayley ponders how the swoop is able to move and stay levitated even when at an idle. Looking at the bike that has no wheels and only small air jets on the undercharge she ponders how to redesign the Raptor Cycles and ATV’s to accomplish this same feat as jedi speeders. Tommy interrupts and tells her that she will be late if she does not leave. Hayley looks at her communicator and smiles. Hayley decides to use the teleportation ability to get their quickly.

At four forty five the team meets up and is amazed at the crowd that has formed outside the museum to view the new exhibit. Tazz, who has read the letter Ashley brought to him, instructs the group to follow him to a security door on the side of the building. Tazz swipes the card that he found inside the envelope with the letter. As the team enters and the door closes, the team is whispering to each other about the large photos of different sparing matches that are displayed around the room. As they slowly and cautiously walk further into the room they notice a shadow moving. The team draws into a fighting stance as they prepare for anything. As the figure steps into the light Tommy breathes heavy, he lets out a small laugh as he extends his hand to his old friend. Tommy smiles when Jason shakes his hand and apologizes for scaring them. The two old friends laugh as they continue to shake hands and let the others catch their breath. Tommy introduces the rangers to Jason one at a time and then introduces Hayley. Jason shakes each of their hands and as he shakes Tazz’s hand he ask if the karate school received the uniforms and other equipment he had been sending. Tazz smiles and thanks him for the gifts but ask why he was selected to get them. Jason tells him that when he decided to do the exhibit he was looking for a school that would sponsor it. Tazz laughed and told him that the gifts helped him free up the money to do just that. Jason smiles and thanks him for the funding. As Jason shows the group around the exhibit the team is amazed by the images of fights, exhibitions, and breaking. As the group comes to the entrance of the exhibit they stand before a collage of six different teams of rangers. Ashley reads the text out loud and smiles, Jason asks about the smile, and Tommy, who is also smiling by this time, tells Jason that the lines “Do you want to be one of these? Then you need to start with one of these.” are exactly what Ashley has done. Jason smiles and Cayce looks puzzled at Tommy. Tommy tells Jason that his suspicion about Tazz and the others was correct and the four teens standing before him are who Tazz chose to continue the ranger tradition. Jason smiles and tells the rangers that he knows how important it is to keep the rangers identity a secret and their secret is safe with him. He also tells them that as the original red ranger he has kept his secret for over 13 years.

Hayley jumps as her communicator chirps an automated warning. She tells the rangers that an attack is happening and the computers will teleport them to the correct location. The rangers nod and are quick to morph just minutes before the crowd of people start walking through the front doors of the museum. Tommy tells Jason to stop by the base and gives him the location along with a teleporter. Jason nods and watches his friend teleport. Jason opens the ropes to the exhibit as the first of the crowd comes up to the entrance. Jason ponders what type of monster is attacking, but he knows the rangers will have no problem defeating it.

While the rangers tour the museum, Serge has sent two nameless criminals of Cheetah’s inner circle to retrieve buried parts of four legendary monsters that Lord Zedd used to attack Angel Grove. When they return with the parts they have retrieved, Serge combines the parts to create his newest monster. He explains to Cheetah that Hodgepodge is created from the most lethal parts of each monster. Hodgepodge is sent with a group of minions to attack Crystal Bay. Serge asks Cheetah to assist to make sure the rangers do not succeed in destroying his monster.

When the rangers arrive to the park they look around at each other confused by the monster that stands behind a wall of minions. Tommy, who has returned to base and watching the video surveillance, tells Tazz that Hodgepodge is the combination of four monsters, he adds that he faced these monsters when he was the white ranger. Tazz acknowledges and pulls his jedi saber quickly to block two minion swords. As the minions start to move towards the rangers in larger numbers the team pairs up and double teams the minions. Tazz continues to fight a large group of minions on his own and is able to make quick glances over to the others to make sure they are safe and not being overwhelmed. Ashley and Cayce use a unique attack that uses their speed and balance to land power kicks and punches by launching off of each other. They are successful in knocking out many of the minions with just a couple kicks and punches this way. Marcus and Justin use a more defensive approach and land several key punches and kicks against the oncoming minions. The final minions that attack them are easily disposed of with their jedi sabers. Tazz meanwhile has taken down many of the minions he has been fighting with three quick lightning strikes and one spark fireball from his jedi saber and dagger. As the minions dissipate, Tazz faces off with Hodgepodge. As they lock up their swords, Tazz attempts to gain the upper hand by surprising him with other attacks. Cayce and Ashley answer this call and use a force jump that they are able to turn into tornado kicks that contact directly on the head. Tazz uses this opportunity to draw his lightsaber, and using a speed attack, slices through Hodgepodge. Justin and Marcus wastes no time in joining the action and land tornado kicks they launch off the shoulders of Ashley and Cayce. As Hodgepodge recovers from the assault, Tazz wastes no time in pulling his dagger and saber, he draws the blades across each other and lights the monster up with an electric lightning attack. The lightning finds the monsters chest with no problem and knocks him to the ground. As the monster returns to his feet the rangers ready their jedi sabers and call for their fire-star. The monster falls to the ground yet again, but is able to stand back up. Tazz tells the team to be ready for speed attacks as he draws his lightsaber. Cayce and Marcus pull their lightsabers as well and Justin nods to Ashley as they start to draw force power into a concentrated ball in their hands. As the monster reaches its feet again, the rangers release their next attack. Tazz first uses a slide attack that sends him under the monster with his saber cutting straight through the middle of it. Marcus and Cayce hit their marks with a powerful X attack that slices the monster through its chest. As they slow down they watch two force balls launch from Ashley and Justin and find their mark, hitting Hodgepodge in the chest and head and causing an earth shattering explosion. The team regroups and Tazz congratulates Ashley and Justin on the force ball attack. Tazz tells them that the concentration of force is a hard skill to master and it should be used in moderation until they are able to control it fully.

Serpentine decides that Hodgepodge has not lived up to its full potential and makes him grow. The rangers quickly call for the jedi assault zords. As they form the Jedi Megazord they are hit with a sonic blast that has come from Hodgepodge. As the Megazord stalls in formation, Hayley works quickly to disengage the programming and restart it remotely. Hayley tells the rangers to disconnect and try reforming the Megazord. Tommy adds that Ashley should be able to distract Hodgepodge since she is the last to combine. The rangers try again on forming the Megazord, as Hodgepodge releases his second sonic blast, Ashley maneuvers into position to take the full force of the blast. As the team finishes the connection, Ashley is able to combine and finish the Megazord before Hodgepodge recharges for another blast. As the Megazord lands from its combination sequence, it is hit with yet another blast. Tazz pounds his fist and tells the team to activate the new assault blaster. As the blaster lands in the zords right hand, Tazz is able to block another sonic blast with the zords shield. The team fires three rockets from the new blaster and hits the monster just after he launches another sonic blast which is easily blocked by the shield. After several strong hits from both sides Ashley tells Tazz that the lightning strike is ready as soon as he calls for the assault saber. Tazz wastes no time and just as the saber reaches the zords hand it is hit with the lightning bolt that charges it to a bright blue glow. Tazz uses a speed slide to slice through the monster with the zords large saber. Hodgepodge is destroyed and scatters into millions of pieces that litter the gravel quarry the zord had been fighting in.

As the rangers return to base, they find Jason and Tommy talking. Jason tells the team that the exhibit is a huge success and he has decided to stay in Crystal bay to keep an eye on the exhibit and to help them out as Tommy does. Tazz extends his hand and offers him a job at the karate school as a source of income. Jason does not hesitate in accepting and tells the team that if they need his help, not to hesitate in asking for it. Tommy adds that with Jason around the school and the base, they will be able to focus on training and the force more often. The team high fives and Tazz hands Jason a communicator to replace the teleporter Tommy gave him.

Serpentine looks at his court and starts to yell at them to create stronger monsters and stronger foot soldiers. He tells cheetah that no matter what happens she is personally responsible for any failures. She looks ate Serge and Nino and tells them to start working on a way to stop the rangers at all cost. Serpentine storms off and Cheetah joins her two companions in her sanctum before dismissing them and pondering her next move.

As Ashley walks upstairs to leave for the day, she is chased down by Cayce. Cayce ask her if she would want to join her later for a movie and a late dinner. Ashley accepts and tells Cayce she will return after she gets cleaned up and takes care of some errands for her parents. Ashley and Cayce smile at each other as Cayce closes Ashley’s jeep door. Justin walks out and looks at Cayce as Ashley speeds away. Justin tells Cayce that she did an excellent job earlier and he is ready to learn how to control the force more. Cayce smiles and thanks him as she walks back into the house to shower and change. She enters the shower with a large grin on her face. Tazz, Tommy and Jason join Hayley in the garage to determine how to help her convert the Raptor Cycles into jedi speeders. Hayley tells them that she is stumped but with the knowledge Tazz has of the swoop bike she is sure they can somehow finish the conversion.

-Episode 4 Pressure Point-

As the team returns to Crystal Bay on a chartered bus Tazz had rented to attend a karate tournament in Grande Gulch, Serge and Cheetah are working on a new monster to attack the rangers. As they finish the final touches on the monster, they are interrupted by Serpentine and Niño. Serpentine informs Cheetah of a professor in Crystal Bay that studies atomic regenerative biogenetics. Cheetah is quick to instruct Niño and her two catlike slaves to retrieve the professor. Serpentine commends Cheetah of her work and instructs her to obtain all the professors’ knowledge and then dispose of him. Cheetah nods and tells Serpentine that she will let the rangers handle that for her. With an evil grin, she tells Serpentine that by creating a monster out of the professor the rangers will have no choice in destroying him. Serpentine marvels over the idea and then leaves the room. Cheetah instructs Serge to put off the current monster until after they take care of the professor. Serge agrees and begins to prep for the professor’s transformation.

Meanwhile, Niño and the slaves have used Cheetah’s new jump portal to grab the professor from the park. As they retreat into the portal, they notice a strange figure watching them. Niño releases a small group of minions to attack the figure as he slips through the portal. Hayley receives the alarm in the base were she is working on the red jedi speeder. She calls Tazz to tell him about the minions and the kidnapping of the professor by Niño. Tazz tells her that it is almost impossible for him to get off the bus until they reach Reefside. Hayley tells him about the cloaked figure that the minions chased away. She informs him that she was able to make out a small symbol on the cloak that represents magic in Chinese. Tazz is silent but then asks if the person is fighting the minions or not. She tells him that it fought after initially taking off but then after destroying one of the minions he watched the others flee. She adds that Niño and the minions used a jump portal to make their escapes. Tazz thanks her for the information and hangs up the phone. Tazz walks to the back of the buss where all the rangers are sitting. He tells them about the attack and asks Marcus to teleport to base and find out more about the cloaked figure for him. Marcus slips into the small closet style restroom in the back of the bus and teleports to base. Tazz walks back to the front of the bus and tells the driver to stop at the cyber café in Reefside. The driver agrees and Tazz returns to his seat next to Tommy. Tazz fills Tommy in and patiently waits for the call from Marcus and Hayley.

As Tazz waits on the bus to arrive in Reefside and for Marcus to call, Serge and Cheetah extract the information they need from the professor. Serge uses a very painful apparatus on the professor’s back to extract the needed information. The professor reveals a major part of the experimental process that allows more strength, speed, and intelligence out of regenerated things. Serge is able to get information on how to make an enhanced minion as well. Cheetah tells Serge that they have all the information Serpentine needs and to take care of the disposing of the professor for her. Serge waists no time in using the molecular regenerator to convert the professor and an old monster into one monster called Yarmulke (are-mule-key). Serge is impressed with the results and sends the monster to Serpentine’s chamber to await his orders from Cheetah and Serpentine. Cheetah informs Serpentine that the rangers seem to be away from Crystal Bay and Yarmulke can cause major damage while they are away. Serpentine agrees and orders the monster to attack the high school with Cheetah first. Yarmulke accepts the orders, and with Cheetah at his side, quickly uses the jump portal and slips through. As the two villains land at the school, they notice the cloaked figure that Niño and the slaves saw earlier. Cheetah instructs Yarmulke to cause some damage while she takes care of the mysterious person showing such an interest in them.

As the attack at the school starts, Marcus calls Tazz and fills him in. He tells Tazz that he is morphing and would like some assistance as soon as they can get to the high school. Tazz tells him they will be there shortly. Tazz hangs up the phone just as the bus pulls off the highway and starts to make its way through town. Marcus morphs and teleports to the high school were he finds Yarmulke and Cheetah. Marcus is quick to attack Yarmulke in order to stop the damage he is causing to the school. Cheetah, who is still fighting the cloaked individual, calls for a minion attack to assist Yarmulke.

Tazz stands and tells the bus full of karate students that Ashley, Justin, Cayce and himself will not be returning to Crystal Bay on the bus. He adds that the four of them will be attending a meeting with a karate school owner that may be selling his karate school to him. Tommy and Jason stand and tell the students that they will be continuing the ride home and will make sure they all get home safely. As the four rangers depart the bus, they quickly move inside the Cyber Café to teleport to Crystal Bay. Inside they find Conner and Ethan talking about a new computer program that helps kids improve their soccer kicks. Tazz walks over to the two and ask if they have seen Hayley. Conner tells him that she left for Crystal Bay about an hour before they arrived and he did not know when she would return. Ethan asks if they can help with anything. Tazz looks around and seeing that the room has quite a few people in it, he asks if there is a back room were they can talk. Conner notices that the bracelet on Tazz’s wrist matches the one he has seen Tommy wearing lately. He shows them to an unused room and asks if they need to morph. Tazz, knowing he can trust the two former rangers, tells them that they have to get to Crystal Bay fast and just need a safe place to morph. Conner looks confused for a minute thinking that no rangers have existed since the Dino Thunder team. Tazz thanks Ethan and tells him that he trusts them not to say anything. Conner asks Tazz if they can watch the morph and Tazz nods. The rangers go through the motions of morphing and teleport immediately after the sequence is complete. As the rangers arrive at the school to assist Marcus, a large wave of minions meets them. The team uses a strong force push to knock them off their feet. The push also knocks down Cheetah and Yarmulke in the process, allowing the team to regroup with Marcus. Tazz instructs Marcus and Justin to handle Yarmulke while Ashley and Cayce take care of the minions. Justin asks where Tazz is going. Tazz tells him that he wants to try to take out Cheetah. The team nods and splits up. Justin and Marcus attack Yarmulke as he is returning to his feet and finds that attacking him when he is down is not as easy as it should be. Ashley uses a force ball to strike a group of minions as Cayce uses a power slide and her lightsaber to take out several minions. As the two pairs continue to work on the minions and Yarmulke, Tazz uses an agility strike to attack Cheetah off guard. With his lightsaber on, and glowing bright red, he strikes only to have Cheetah block him with her sword. Tazz pushes a front snap kick off Cheetah’s stomach and tries to strike again with his lightsaber. Cheetah is able to block the second attack just as easily and dodge the sidekick that Tazz throws. Frustrated Tazz uses a force push to put distance between them. He powers down the lightsaber and rushes Cheetah. As he throws punches and kicks, he is able to land many of the shots. The final kick he throws is a sidekick that he over telegraphs and forces him to lean back and turn to land it. As he looks up, he is face to face with the cloaked figure. Feeling the attack from Cheetah coming, he screams for the figure to get out of the battle zone. He sees the figures eyes glow red before it takes off. Tazz turns just in time to land a perfect palm heal reverse punch into Cheetah’s sternum. Cheetah takes several steps back and gasps for air as she holds her chest. She uses a jump portal to escape from Tazz once again.

Meanwhile the fireball and flame attacks from Yarmulke have overwhelmed Justin and Marcus. Cayce has started to help but between defending herself against minions as well as dodging the flames, she does little to help. Tazz notices the team needing to regroup and fires off a succession of force attacks designed to close the distance between himself and Yarmulke, as well as let the others put distance between themselves and Yarmulke. Tazz uses a force lightning attack to divert Yarmulke first and follows it with a whirlwind attack and saber toss. Yarmulke becomes confused as he spins in the whirlwind and falls to the ground dazed. Tazz, having regrouped with the others, uses a force choke to hold Yarmulke off the ground while Marcus uses another saber toss. Hayley, who has been analyzing the information on Yarmulke, contacts Tazz and informs him that Yarmulke is a genetically altered version of the professor. Tazz tells the others that he will handle the problem. As Yarmulke attacks again, Tazz uses a power slide with Cayce’s and his own lightsabers set to stun. The two meet and slice through each other. As Tazz slides to a stop with a gash in his suit, he looks over his shoulder to see Yarmulke lying on the ground from the paralyzing double saber strike. He walks over and uses his foot to turn him over onto his back. Cayce walks over to Tazz and hands him a containment blaster she had brought with her from the future and Hayley retrieved for her. Tazz tells Yarmulke that the worse part is over and that it will all be over soon. Tazz turns his back to walk over to the other rangers and prepares to fire the blaster to contain Yarmulke when a jump portal opens.

As the rangers show compassion to Yarmulke, Serge and Cheetah watch on the viewer. Serpentine walks up and orders them to attack, and bring the monster back to him. Cheetah tries to ask what the point in saving him would be since there is no way to separate the professor from the monster, he stops her mind sentence and tells her not to question orders. Cheetah and her slaves use the jump portals to land just in time to block the blast from the containment blaster. Cheetah grabs Yarmulke and makes it back through the jump portal before the rangers can attack her. Tazz stomps his foot and tells the others that he should not have taken so much time. Marcus tells him that he may have a way to destroy the monster and free the professor. Tazz tells him to work on it while he and the others start to look for the cloaked figure. Cayce ask who it is and why they are so important. Tazz explains that he is unsure who it is but it is definitely interested in the activities of Cheetah and Serpentine. The team teleports back to base and removes their helmets as they walk up to Hayley.

Hayley tells the rangers that the cloaked figure may be a demon with the way his eyes glowed. Tazz tells her that the eyes seemed to glow at the exact time Cheetah was in striking distance. Tazz tells the others that whoever or whatever the figure is, they need to find it before Cheetah and Serpentine do. He adds that whether it is good or evil it is defiantly not on Serpentine’s side. Ashley suggests that they go back to the two spots were it was seen and see if any clues can be found. Tazz agrees and sends Justin with Ashley to the park while he and Cayce go back to the school. Tazz tells everyone to be careful and call for assistance if needed. Tazz motions for them to return to action and the four teleport.

When Tazz and Cayce arrive at the school, they find themselves amazed by the damage that the battle that happened earlier caused. Tazz looks around to see if the figure dropped anything. After finding nothing the two walk north along the path the figure took when fleeing the battle. Cayce notices several odd markings on the path and trees as they continue north towards the park. Tazz ask Hayley for information on each mark as Cayce finds them and she tells him that they are all references to magic or special powers of different kinds. She explains that they range from things like levitation to controlling objects. Tazz ask Hayley if she can reference each one through the database of force powers in his computer. She tells him that she will start working on it at once and will get back to him shortly.

As the rangers fallow the markings to a cave entrance in a wooded area between the park and the high school, Cheetah is able to revive and enhance Yarmulke. She tells him that another attack on the rangers will happen shortly. Serpentine walks in and ask how the rangers were able to return to Crystal Bay so quickly during the first attack. Cheetah tells him that they are using a form of light-based travel, but she is unsure how it works or what controls it. Serpentine instructs her to find out and report to him. He returns to his chambers to await information regarding the experiments that Serge is conducting with the newly obtained information. Cheetah sends Yarmulke back through the jump portal armed with a new high-power launcher attached to his right arm. She tells him to attack before the rangers are able to enter the cave and cut off the use of the jump portals.

Tazz tells the others to use caution as they enter and expect anything. Before they can enter the cave however, Yarmulke comes through the jump portal firing a barrage of fireballs. The rangers go on the defensive and are able to dodge the blast. Tazz however stands his ground and lands a seismic sidekick into Yarmulke’s face. Before Yarmulke is able to realize what has happened Tazz is able to throw a mule kick off his planted food and strike Yarmulke in the stomach. Ashley and Cayce use Tazz as a springboard and land torpedo kicks followed by strikes with their jedi sabers. Marcus, who has joined the team quietly after the fireball attack, and Justin follow with tornado kicks of their own. Marcus and Justin pull out their new battle poles and use them to leg sweep Yarmulke as they pass by. Tazz looks at the results and is impressed with the new weapon. He arms his lightsaber and uses a power slide to slice through Yarmulke again. Tazz stops and finds that Yarmulke is still standing. Knowing that he has no other chance he tells Cayce and Marcus to arm their lightsabers to do an X strike. The two take off and move into power slides striking just as Tazz slides through with his saber straight up and on a containment setting. The trio slides to a stop and finds themselves joined by Ashley, who has picked up the containment card, and Justin. Ashley asks how the containment worked and Tazz tells her that it is a miniature prison cell.

Cayce asks if they should continue to look for the cloaked figure or return to base. Marcus tells them that the cloaked figure provided the battle poles that he and Justin used, but it gave them to Jason when he returned to the karate school. Tazz powers down and tells them that their search can wait. He adds that if the poles were provided by the figure then it may be a friend and only time will tell. Tazz ask if Jason and Tommy were back at the base and Marcus informs him that they had just arrived when the attack happened. Tazz instructs the team to return to base and he will join them shortly. The team teleports not sure on Tazz’s plans for Yarmulke inside the containment card.

Tazz returns to the base nearly thirty minutes after the others teleported back. He talks to Tommy about how the infusion of the monster and the professor prevent him from destroying the monster. He adds that if they destroy the monster, they kill the professor as well. Tommy tells Tazz that if Marcus has everything correct they can use the same equipment that created the monster to separate it. Tazz ask how they can do that when the equipment is in Serpentines layer. Tommy ponders a moment and then shrugs his shoulders. He tells Tazz that the professor is an important person and they will have to return him to normal or announce his death due to the attack. Tazz nods and places the containment card into a drawer that he locks. Tazz tells Tommy he will see him later and walks upstairs to relax. Tommy teleports home to Reefside to relax after the long bus rides over the past three days.

-Episode 5 The Challange-

Tazz and Justin skate down the sidewalk of Crystal Bay on their inline skates for some morning exercise. As they make their way to the karate school, they come up on a construction crew replacing three of the sidewalk squares. Unable to stop due to their speed, Tazz and Justin both use a force jump to clear the still wet concrete. As the two land, they look back to see the three men scratching their heads. Tazz tells Justin they should have not done the jump, but that it was fun getting to use a force power and not have everyone knowing he used it. As Tazz and Justin approach the school, they notice a large protest in the parking lot across the street. Justin finds a flier taped to the window as he unlocks the door of the school. The flier condemns martial arts while promoting card playing and gambling. Tazz tells him to go inside and set up for the test that he scheduled for that afternoon. Justin agrees and walks inside. Tazz watches the protest for a moment before deciding to walk over and find out more about the man and on the makeshift stage. Before walking over, he walks in and changes to his karate gee. He thinks in the back of his head that cheetah and serpentine could be behind the entire protest, but heads over to confront the man anyways. Tazz emerges at the steps of the stage in his white V-neck karate gee and black pants with his forth degree black belt around his waist. Tazz walks onstage and asks the man what his reasons are for considering martial arts a bad activity for children to engage in. The man introduces himself as “The Dealer” and tells Tazz that martial arts’ only promotes violence and injuries. Tazz listens patiently before responding. Tazz tells The Dealer that martial arts’ teaches how to defend ones self as well as many other things. He adds that Martial arts’ teaches discipline, courtesy, and self-esteem. The Dealer glares at Tazz and then turns back to the crowed. His attitude changes and he begins to rant more about how playing cards teaches people more than martial arts’ can, and you never get hurt in a card game. Tazz shakes his head and walks back across the street determined to show the protesters what true martial arts’ is.

Meanwhile at the park, Cayce and Ashley talk about the differences between 2006 and 2021. Ashley mostly asks about how different groups treat each other in society and how transportation differs. Cayce tells her that a lot is the same except for aliens are the ones that receive the hatred instead of the minorities in humans. Ashley continues her questions until Marcus interrupts with news of the protest at the karate school. The girls are quick to put away their books and grab their bags. As they approach the protest, they notice Tazz walking back to the school. They are able to catch him before he enters the school and ask if he needs them to do anything. He instructs them to change and attend a class he is having before the test. The girls agree and head inside.

Marcus arrives at the school carrying a large projection screen. Tazz helps him place it in front of the school and using a rear projector they are able to broadcast a clear picture of the inside workout room. Placing two speakers, they finish the connections and walk inside. Tazz makes several phone calls to students inviting them to the class. The protest builds support as time goes by and students start to arrive. Tazz starts the class and is sure to ask many questions and go over many of the rules and fundamentals of martial arts. After almost twenty minutes of talking to the class starts the workout. Justin and Tazz walk out of the room to see the reaction from the protesters. Jason continues teaching the class, going over many of the basic blocks and strikes, as well as self-defense. Tazz notices that the dealer seems to be losing his crowed and patience too. Tazz invites many of the people that are standing outside watching the screen inside. He explains to them he is not trying to make any of them sign up, he just wishes to make it known what true martial arts is about.

Tazz and Justin walk back into the workout room and ask for two volunteers for sparring. As he waits for two hands, he nods to Cayce and Ashley who are standing side by side on the front row. The girls raise their hands and Tazz instructs them to get their pads on while the others sit along the wall. He explains to the class, as well as the audience, that sparring is not fighting. He continues by telling them that by sparring, they learn how to react to attacks, patience, and they get to use what they have learned in a safe manner. Justin adds that while it is important to use control and caution when sparring, they should not just wait on the other person to attack them. As the girls enter the painted circle on the floor, Tazz asks Ashley, the senior belt, which style she would prefer. Ashley declines the opportunity and passes it to Cayce. Cayce answers with continuous freestyle and accepts a red armband on her right wrist. Tazz instructs the girls to bow to him then each other before the match begins. Justin, Tommy, Jason and Marcus stand in a square around the ring as judges.

By now, The Dealer has lost his entire audience to the karate school’s giant screen. Determined to force his influence over the entire city, he takes off for the cliffs overlooking North Rim. The Dealer panders as he over looks the secluded beach just north of town. As he turns to walk back towards the city, Cheetah and Niño confront him. They tell The Dealer they can help him destroy the karate school if he helps them destroy the rangers. The Dealer asks if there is a connection in the two and cheetah tells him that Tazz and the other instructors seem to disappear when the rangers show up. The Dealer hesitates but agrees to assist them. Cheetah leads The Dealer into the jump portal and guides him to serge’s workshop. Serge instructs The Dealer to step into the conversion chamber. The Dealer emerges transformed into Card Shark. Cheetah takes him to Serpentine to receive final orders on attacking. Cheetah arranges for a massive attack during the karate test so that he will not have to face all the rangers at once. Serge, who is working on his previous monster again, tells Cardshark that Niño will provide a minion army for him to launch the attack with on Crystal Bay. Cardshark acknowledges and heads for the jump portal.

Tazz ends the sparring match and declares Ashley the winner with the score of fourteen to thirteen. He then added the penalty count with two for Ashley and one for Cayce. Tazz thanks the class and asks them to line up. As they return to their spots in line, Cayce apologizes for the contact she made to Ashley’s back during the match. Ashley smiles and thanks her. Tazz dismisses the class and thanks them for coming. Tazz tells Justin and Tommy that he can feel a disturbance but is unclear what is causing it. Tommy asks about the presents of the cloaked figure outside. Tazz tries to feel through the force but is unable due to the figures own mystic abilities. Tazz tells them that the figure is most likely the cause but he is unsure. Marcus and Jason return with the screen and speakers before Tazz assembles the team in his office. He tells them about the test and that it will be up to Justin, Marcus and Ashley to handle any problems that may come up until the test is over. Cayce asks if she is eligible for the test, Tazz tells her that he needs her to assist for the test and she will be eligible for a special test in an upcoming weekend. Cayce smiles and watches as Justin, Ashley and Marcus teleport to base to join Hayley. Tazz and the others head into the main room to begin the test. He introduces everyone to Cayce, Jason and Tommy before explaining each of their roles in the test.

As the test continues, Justin and Hayley finish the final touches on the final Jedi speeders. Hayley explains that they are ready; however, she recommends that they stay on flat ground. Justin and Marcus look over the speeders as Ashley and Hayley talk quietly at the computer terminal. Ashley is able to talk privately to Hayley about personal conflict she is having. Hayley gives her advice but tells her to follow her heart. Ashley smiles and thanks her. As the test nears the forty-five minute mark Tazz has begun the breaking portion of the test. At base the alarm sounds and Hayley tells the rangers that Cardshark is attacking near the school. The three morph and teleport to the pool behind an apartment high rise. They find Cardshark and quickly dodge a green energy ball. Marcus is able to land a torpedo kick as he jumps over the pool to close distance. Ashley and Justin soon follow with tornado kicks, which send the monster running. The rangers catch up with him at the shipping yard across town; Justin pulls his battle pole and charges Cardshark. Justin plants the end of the pole into the ground and uses he momentum to swing around it and land four strong kicks before Cardshark is able to move away. Cardshark counters with a strong punch that sends Justin into a stack of pipes. Marcus and Ashley move in front of Justin and draw their jedi sabers. Cardshark charges them; pulling his sword, he tries to strike Ashley but Marcus blocks him with his jedi saber. Ashley lands a sidekick before Cardshark can react. Cardshark retreats again, this time through a jump portal. Hayley contacts the rangers and tells them that multiple minion attacks have started. Tazz, who has just released the students from the test, tells the others that he will handle Cardshark while they stop the minions. The team agrees and splits up.

Cayce and Tazz morph and then teleport to the steel mill runes, they find Cardshark and a large group of minions. At the train station, Ashley finds her group of minions. She reports that they seem to be searching for something. Justin reports the same at the hotel overlooking the beach. Marcus lands at the beach where he immediately finds himself overwhelmed by a group of minions with altered swords. He uses his battle pole as he defends himself. At the Crystal Bay fountain house Cayce finds herself surrounded, but using force push she is able to gain the upper hand. Tazz instructs all the rangers to meet at the steel mill water tank when they have finished with the minions. Justin is able to use a power slide to slice through the minions. He finishes them off with hard strikes that send them running. On the beach, Marcus uses an energy strike with his battle pole to destroy the minions. Tazz has started taking on wave after wave of minions when the others arrive. Cardshark pulls the minions and watches as the ranger’s power down. He laughs when he sees Tazz leading the group. Tazz is not amused and tells Cardshark to make it easy and just give up. Cardshark laughs and retreats to the beach. The rangers morph again and land on the beach. Drawing their battle poles, they stand off. Tazz channels a force lightning strike through his pole and hits Cardshark with perfect accuracy. Tazz pulls in close and fights hand to hand with Cardshark as the others handle another wave of minions. Landing a series of punches and kicks, Tazz puts distance between Cardshark and himself by using a force jump and push at the same time. As he stands on the cliff looking down on the battle, he notices the cloaked figure next to him. He hears speech and quickly determines the female voice is from the figure.

The other rangers have started using force attacks to try to combat the nonstop attack Cardshark is using on them. The cloaked figure tells Tazz that Cardshark will stand no chance against a lightning attack combined with a fire blast attack. Tazz asks how she knows so much about his attacks, she does not answer before disappearing into the cliff. Tazz is unsure of what to do about the figure, but knows he must finish off Cardshark. Tazz jumps down to the beach and finds his jedi saber and dagger on the sand. He uses the force to pull them to his hands just as Cardshark charges him. He strikes the blades together and watches as the fireball erupts. As Cardshark tries to recover, Tazz calls for a lightning strike as he pulls his lightsaber. Using a power slide, he slices the charged saber through Cardsharks midsection. Cardshark explodes in another fireball. Tazz regroups with the other rangers to make sure they are ok. He uses a force heal to help Cayce who is holding her arm.

Serpentine tells Cheetah to revive Cardshark and have him crush the city. As the rangers celebrate, Cardshark emerges from the fireball and grows. Tazz calls Hayley to send the assault zords. When the zords are in range, the rangers enter them. Tazz calls for them to combine and put an end to the destruction. Ashley and Cayce agree and begin the combination. AS the Megazord is completed, Tazz calls for the jedi blaster. Marcus arms the blaster with torpedoes and gives Tazz the clear to fire. Tazz acknowledges and fires four torpedoes at Cardshark. Justin is quick to spot the opening and calls for the jedi saber. Tazz uses a speed burst to slice Cardshark as they rush by. Cardshark wobbles from the attack but does not fall. Tazz knows that the lightning strike will be the last shot. The rangers call for the lightning charge and tornado strike. As the Megazord comes to a stop, Tazz watches the monster fall. He congratulates the other rangers and tells them that he has some new information to share with them.

Back at base, the team awaits Tazz’s information. They talk quietly until Tazz walks in. He starts by informing them that the jedi speeders are finished. He adds that the force sabers are close to being finished. The others are quiet as Tazz pauses. Ashley breaks the silence by asking what else was important. Tazz reveals that the cloaked figure is female and is completely on their side. The others let out a sigh of relief and start talking to each other about who she might be. Tazz pulls Cayce aside and talks to her privately about an issue he noticed several weeks earlier. Cayce agrees to be more careful in the future.

-Episode 6 Vanishing Act-

As Tazz returns to Crystal Bay from his test ride of the red jedi speeder, Hayley contacts him. She informs him that a mysterious figure has appeared at the park and he came through a dimension rip, she adds that Justin and David have also disappeared. Tazz asks Hayley to contact the other rangers and have them teleport to the park. Hayley agrees and ends the communication. Tazz puts his hands back on the handlebars of the speeder and takes off at full throttle for the park. The team arrives just seconds before Tazz, only to watch the figure enter a jump portal and escape. Tazz contacts Hayley and asks her if she can identify the figure or not. Hayley is silent for a moment as she searches the ranger database. She replies and tells Tazz that the figures name is Dark Razor. She informs the team that a group of ancient rangers banished him to the dimension of light over five thousand years earlier. Marcus adds that around 1950 Dark Razor escaped by using an ancient sword that cuts through the dimension walls. Ashley asks where he was from the time he escaped, until appearing in the park. Tazz tells her he will explain back at base. The team teleports back to base where Tommy explains that Dark Razor spent time in the dimension of darkness and drew power from the evil that makes up the dimension creatures and the dimension it-self. Cayce asks if Serpentine summoned him or if he came to their dimension on his own. No answer is offered, but Hayley tells them that since he was seen using a jump portal, he must be working with Serpentine in some form or another. As the team discusses Dark Razor and Serpentine, a jump portal opens and a large number of minions appear with Cheetah and Niño.

Meanwhile Justin and David awake to find themselves in a dense forest unlike anything on earth. The forest consists of large thick trees that have vines hanging from them. Justin is dazed and slightly confused as he rises to his feet. David stands with the help of Justin and asks where they are. Justin tells him he does not know exactly. The two look around and notice strange creatures watching them. Justin and David, still in their karate gee’s, agree to walk down the path in opposite directions. Justin tells David not to take any splits in the path. David agrees to turn around and come back if he finds anything. Justin nods and starts to walk cautiously down the path. David is able to relax as he walks in the other direction. As Justin comes up on some cliffs, he tries to contact Tazz with his communicator. However, all he gets is silence. Worried he cannot contact the other rangers, Justin attempts to morph into his battle suit but instead can only activate his Jedi speed suit. Puzzled he tries to power up into his battle suit but has no success. He decides to see if anything is on top of the cliff he is standing at the base of. Justin uses a force jump and is easily able to scale the large cliff. As he lands on the ledge, he finds a large number of minions waiting for him, along with Serge and Dark Razor. Serge and Dark Razor position themselves behind the minions and are each holding large swords. Serge orders the minions to attack and laughs as Justin has no were to go.

Back at the park in Crystal Bay, Tazz and the others have started to attack the minions. Tazz lets Ashley and Cayce handle the minions, while he and Marcus handle Niño and Cheetah. Niño tries to step in and fight but Tazz pushes him away with a force push. Cheetah draws her sword and goes on the offensive. Tazz uses an up-block to counter the overhead strike. Tazz then uses a sidekick and moves for a leg sweep. Cheetah anticipates the leg sweep and is able to jump just in time to avoid Tazz knocking her to the ground. Ashley and Cayce use their new force sabers to slice through the minions they are fighting, as Marcus attacks Niño. Marcus tells Cayce and Ashley to keep the minions busy so that he can attack Niño. Marcus uses a force jump attack to close the distance and strike Niño with a sidekick. Niño, not one to use swords, attacks with a reverse punch followed by a jab that surprises Marcus. Able to block the second reverse punch, Marcus uses a force push from his backhand. Niño releases a sidekick that is blocked and countered with an up block then a straight right jab. Marcus follows up with a reverse punch and an angled snap-kick. As Tazz draws his force saber, he sees Cayce fall to the ground holding her right hand, and dropping her force saber. He is able to block a cross-body sword strike by Cheetah with his force saber and then counters with a push kick and spinning sword strike. Cheetah is able to block the sword and then tries to throw a front snap kick. Tazz is ready for the kick and uses a force push to knock her away and onto her back. Cheetah and Niño retreat through a jump portal and the team returns to base to regroup. Back at base Hayley examines Cayce’s hand as Tazz talks to Ashley about what happened during the fight. Hayley recommends that Cayce see a doctor about the large gash in her hand but leaves the decision up to Cayce herself. Ashley explains that they both went for the same minion and her saber missed, hitting Cayce’s hand instead. Ashley appears emotionally upset but Tazz feels that she is not telling him everything.

In the dimension of darkness, Justin finds himself outnumbered and at a major disadvantage with his heals on the ledge of the cliff. He tells himself to remain calm and handle each minion as they attack. Serge is not so patient and orders the entire group of minions to attack Justin. Using his speed, agility and quick thinking, Justin waits for the minions to close in. As they get dangerously close, Justin uses a force jump to clear out of the way. In mid air, he does a twist that turns him back towards the minion’s while still traveling towards Serge. Justin uses a force push that causes all the minions to fly over the cliff before they can stop. Justin lands and smiles at the results, not realizing he is only two feet in front of Dark Razor and Serge. With a large yell, Serge throws a hard punch into Justin’s back that cause him to stager forward. Justin turns in time to block the second punch but Dark Razor hits him with a sidekick. Justin pulls his force saber; which is contained within his morpher, and attacks Dark Razor. Justin finds it easy to land a hit on both Serge and Dark Razor using speed attacks. Serge retreats and yells for Dark Razor to stop fighting. Justin realizes that Dark Razor holds the key to getting out of the area but he knows he cannot leave David behind. Justin powers down and watches Dark Razor slice through the dimension wall with his samurai sword. Knowing that the sword is the only way out of the dimension, he sends an urgent message simply stating that Dark Razor trapped him. He hopes that Hayley or Tazz received the message and can help him and David escape. Knowing that David should be back at the path, Justin uses a force jump to leap off the cliff and back to the path. He looks around at the minion bodies scattered around the base of the cliff. As he makes his way back down the path, he notices the lack of creatures, unlike before. He finds David sitting at the original spot they split up at and tells him to go with him to the cliff.

Justin explains to David that the darkness they felt comes from the dimension and not from what is in the dimension. David looks puzzled and asks what they are doing in another dimension. Justin explains that an ancient warrior called Dark Razor trapped them there. As the two reach the cliff, David notices the large amount of minions lying around the base and asks if there was a fight. Justin laughs and tells him that they just fell off the cliff. David smarts off to Justin and asks if they fell or if someone pushed them. Justin just grins. Justin and David sit at the foot of the cliff and await the rangers to rescue them.

At base, Tazz receives the message from Justin and a data package from his morpher on the true power of Dark Razor. Tazz examines the data and learns about the fight in the Dark dimension. Ashley volunteers Marcus and herself to distract Dark Razor while Tazz takes a clear shot with his lightsaber. Cayce objects and tells them that she will not sit and watch a fight. Tazz hesitates on giving an answer, but as the alarm sounds, Tazz tells Hayley to take Cayce to see a doctor. Tazz, Ashley and Marcus quickly morph then teleport to the park. Tazz and the others land and minions immediately surround them. Using a force push, Tazz is able to knock several of the minions to the ground. Ashley and Marcus use force jumps and then tornado kicks to clear the minions and strike Cheetah and Serge. Tazz hits the minions with a force lightning attack that reduces their numbers to only a few. Ashley hits a torpedo kick and bounces back to land a head scissors takedown on one of the minions. Tazz pulls his lightsaber and tosses it to Marcus who has also drawn his to fight Serge. Serge and Cheetah quickly retreat and leave Dark Razor alone. The three rangers square off and wait for Dark Razor to attack. Ashley breaths heavy then uses a speed attack to attempt stealing the sword from Dark Razor, however her attempt alerts him and he uses a high knee to stop Ashley and flip her onto her back. Dark Razor raises his sword and starts to swing down to strike Ashley when Tazz and Marcus hit him with force lighting attacks. Ashley is able to roll away, as the sword comes down and slices the dimension wall. As the dimension wall opens, Tazz uses his morpher to teleport Justin and David out of the dark dimension and to safety. The rangers regroup and nod at Justin who is standing at the street with David.

Justin tells David to get out of the area, and that he will catch up with him later. David agrees and takes off for home, but not before, he sees another lighting strike from the Red ranger. Justin ducks behind one of the large dumpsters, where he is out of site from everyone. As Tazz lands a third lighting strike on Dark Razor, Justin uses a tornado kick to hit Dark Razor in the head and nock him to the ground. Tazz high fives Justin and welcomes him back. Justin tells the others that ranged attacks will be a huge advantage against Dark Razor. Tazz nods and contacts Tommy for some added firepower. Tommy delivers with the Dino Cannon. Tazz catches the cannon and the team prepares it for the blast. Dark Razor is slow to realize what is going on as he returns to his feet. As Dark Razor starts to charge the rangers, Tazz pulls the trigger and blast the beam into the monster with little effort. The team is excited that the cannon worked, but then realize that the cannon only had the one shot left in it. As the pieces of Dark Razor fall to the ground, Tazz and the others relax for a moment.

As Serge and Cheetah return to Serpentines lair, they find him furious that the rangers destroyed Dark Razor so easily with an outdated weapon. Serpentine orders Serge to revive Dark Razor and have him crush Crystal Bay into the sea. With no hesitation, Serge responds and the evil group watches as Dark Razor rises above the city. Tazz knows that without Cayce they cannot form the Megazord. With no choice, Tazz calls for the assault zords and tells Marcus to contact Hayley to find out if Cayce can morph. Tommy interrupts and informs the team that he has altered the programming to allow for a four-zord formation. He tells them that they will not have a shield but it should not matter against someone like Dark Razor. The team leaps into their zords and makes the conversion into the Megazord. Tazz does a flyby of Dark Razor and launches both missiles he had placed on his jet. As the Megazord completes its transformation, the rangers move into the cockpit. Tazz equips the jedi blaster and takes three quick shots at Dark Razor, two hit him in the chest and the third flies high. Dark Razor tries to answer with a sword attack, but the rangers hit him with a stiff left fist in the face. Ashley realizes that without the fifth zord they will be unable to do their normal speed attack strike to finish off Dark Razor. Tazz nods and equips the jedi saber. Dark Razor attacks again and the rangers block his sword with their own. Again, Dark Razor receives a stiff punch from the rangers and is force to back up. Tazz uses the opportunity to use a lightning saber strike and slice through Dark Razor. As the first strike finishes, Tazz motions for a second strike in the opposite direction. Forming an X, the two strikes easily destroy Dark Razor. Tazz orders the zords to return to their base for minor repairs to the left arm of the Megazord.

When the team returns to base, they find Cayce with a bandaged hand and Hayley reviewing some footage of Niño attacking during the zord battle. Cayce tells Tazz that she will be fine but she will need to get care that she cannot receive in 2006. Tazz nods and tells her to be careful fighting with it until she can return to a doctor in 2021. The team watches the footage for a third time and notices that the cloak uses a lightning attack similar to the one the rangers use. Tazz watches intensely and comments about the way she holds her hands and positions her feet for each punch and kick. He comments that he only knows of one other person that does the same thing when fighting. He looks at Ashley and asks if she notices it. Ashley is quiet and watches as Niño escapes from the cloak. Tazz asks Hayley if she can analyze the fight in more detail to try to determine more about the mysterious figure. Ashley objects and tells Tazz that she would like to be the one that studies it. She adds that she feels something when she is around the cloak in battle. Tazz tells Ashley to assist Hayley in her work and to fill him in whenever they can. Hayley tells Tazz that the force saber readings were good and that the drain on their force powers was minimal. Tazz nods and walks upstairs. When he enters the living room upstairs, he finds Justin talking about the dimension of darkness with Cayce and Marcus. Marcus asks about the creatures and if they attacked him or David. Justin explains that the creatures were not the threat but Serge and Dark Razor knew that he would be unable to morph into the battle suit when they trapped him there. Tazz explains that the creatures in the dimension are not evil. The darkness of the dimension is what the true evil is and that is where Dark Razor drew his power from, Tazz continues by telling the team that Dark Razor drew power the same way the Sith do, by use of hatred and the need for being at the top. The team nods and gets up to walk away. Tazz laughs and tells them to be at the karate school for an 8am class the next day. Everyone moans but knows that they need to work out as much as possible.

-Episode 7 Saying Goodbye Part One, The Spider Web-

As most of Crystal Bay sleeps in on a Saturday morning, Marcus and the other rangers are at the airport for a drag race competition. Marcus enters the races and meets some of the other competitors while the other rangers tour the pits and merchant trailers. The final competitor Marcus meets gives off a calm and collected energy, unlike the other competitors. Marcus talks to Shawn about the race and asks him if he had the posted brackets. Shawn explains to Marcus that the group holding the races will only post three races at a time. Shawn and Marcus continue talking until they come to the topic of vehicle modifications. Shawn explains that he has spent a lot of money modifying his truck; he tells him that the rocker arms, headers, valves, cam, transmission, and exhaust have all been changed or modified. He throws in that he just changed the rear-end gear before moving to Crystal Bay the week before. They wish each other the best of luck in the races. Marcus makes his way back to his stall where his new Mustang GT sits. As he checks over the car and makes sure he has everything ready to go, an official tells him that he will be the first to race. Marcus drives up to the staging area where an official gives him lane selection. Marcus chooses the left lane for his first run and smiles when he sees his competition. As the tree of lights moves towards green, the team watches and are surprised by the power the Mustang has. Marcus easily wins his first run by over one and a half seconds. Shawn claps as the run ends, quite impressed by the run and knows that Marcus will have an easy time in his bracket. Shawn runs in the final race of the first round and is quite happy with his low fourteen-second time. Shawn smiles as he realizes that if he and Shawn stay consistent they will be in the finals together. As Marcus and Shawn progress through the rounds, Tazz and Justin discuss how calm it had seemed around Crystal Bay for over two weeks. Justin comments how Cheetah and Niño were keeping a low profile since the last defeat they suffered. Tazz nods as Marcus pulls up to the start line for his semifinal run. Marcus looks over and finds that he is running against a heavily modified Chevy S-10. As the lights turn to green, Marcus punches the gas and gets off the line perfectly. As he runs down the track, he feels his car starting to push to the right and watches as his water temperature climbs. He crosses the line with his best time of the day and watches as the S-10 post his worse time of the day. As he pulls off the track, he knows something is wrong and before returning to the pits, he gets out to check on the condition of the car. As he walks around the front of the car, he notices a large plastic bag covering his grill. Marcus gets mad but he is happy he did not mess his car up. When Marcus returns to the pits, he finds a message spray panted across his pit stall. Marcus contacts Tazz and informs him about the message that he believes Cheetah, Serge or Niño is responsible for writing. Tazz and the other rangers return to Marcus’s pit stall and find the message. Ashley notices that it is not a threat to Marcus but to whomever he races in the finals. Tazz tells the other rangers to return to base and be ready to react if anything happens. Ashley, Justin and Cayce agree and teleport to base to meet up with Hayley. Marcus tells Tazz about the feeling he got when he talked to Shawn about the track and the truck he has been racing. Tazz asks Marcus if what he feels is the force or just positive energy. Marcus is unsure, but he tells Tazz that he feels that whatever it is, he is using it to win. Tazz nods and mentions that he can also feel the force energy from one of the competitors but he was unsure whom it was coming from. As the officials come by to inform Shawn and Marcus about the final race, Tazz leaves and tells Marcus that he will be ready for anything that happens. Marcus tells Tazz that he thinks the amount of force energy has attracted the threat from Serge and Cheetah. Tazz nods as he walks away. Tazz teleports to base and watches the final race on the monitors.

Marcus and Shawn line up at the start line and watch the tree for the start. As the lights fall from yellow to green, the two racers take off. Marcus has the early advantage but at the one eighth mile mark they are dead even. As the two approach the finish line, a jump portal opens and Serge lands directly on Shawn’s finish line. Unable to react in time, Shawn has no choice but to run directly into him. Serge puts his shoulder forward and stands his ground as the truck hits him at 100 miles an hour. The energy from the impact crumples the engine compartment and causes the hood to fly off and back down the track. The impact horrifies Tazz and the other rangers. They waste no time in Morphing into their battle suits and teleporting to the track. Marcus slams on his breaks and turns his wheel hard left. After turning his car 180 degrees he jumps out and runs at a full sprint at Serge. As Marcus gets to Serge, he lands a sidekick that lets him rebound over the truck and get to Shawn’s door. To Marcus’s surprise, Shawn has already gotten out of the truck and is attacking Serge. Serge yells at Shawn about breaking his deal and Marcus spots the other rangers landing behind Serge. Marcus knows he must separate Shawn and Serge so the rangers can force him back into the jump portal. Marcus, unable to morph due to the large crowd, he uses a sliding sidekick to try to separate the two. Marcus pushes Serge back and Tazz hits him from behind in the head with a jumping sidekick. Shawn closes the distance again and hits Serge, who now has his attention on the rangers, in the back with a powerful punch and angle kick combination. Marcus grabs Shawn and tells him to let the rangers handle the fight. Shawn reluctantly runs to the mustang and jumps in. Marcus hits the gas and the two take off down the runway. Tazz and the other rangers square off with Serge and watch as he opens a jump portal and enters it. Tazz tells the team to return to base and he will contact Marcus. Cayce, who is holding her wrist, tells Tazz that they should have Marcus take Shawn to the karate school and not the house. Tazz explains that the house will be safer than the school due to the surveillance and force dampener that surrounds the land. At base, Tazz calls Marcus on his cell and ask him if he and Shawn are ok. Marcus is cool and collected on the phone as he drives out of the airport with Shawn. Tazz tells Marcus to return to base with Shawn and for him to find out what he can about the deal Shawn made with Serge and Cheetah. Marcus agrees and hangs up the phone. Shawn asks him what is going on and Marcus tells him that Serge seemed not to like the fact that he broke a deal. Shawn explains that he only agreed to the deal to get away from Serge. Marcus nods and tells him that he can explain it to the red ranger. Shawn sinks in his seat and waits out the ride.

Back at base, Tazz has Ashley and Justin to clean up the living room upstairs and to remove all jedi and ranger items. As the two clean and Tommy checks on Cayce’s hand, Tazz reviews the fight at the track. Tazz finds Shawn’s ability against Serge impressive. As Tommy talks to Cayce about returning to 2021, Hayley tells Tazz that she may have identified the cloaked figure as either a sister or even the twin of Ashley. Tazz ask Hayley if there are any records of adoption at Ashley’s birth or of the other girl. Hayley only shrugs and tells Tazz that he will have to ask Ashley or her parents. Tazz nods and ascends the stairs out of the base. As he locks and arms the door leading into the base he sighs and prepares himself for Shawn and the energy he has. Before entering the living room, he collects his thoughts and removes his lightsaber on his belt. Tazz opens the door and walks over to where Marcus and Shawn are standing. Marcus introduces Tazz and Shawn to each other. Tazz talks to Shawn a moment about the fight at the track and during the short talk Tazz can easily feel the light force powers flowing from Shawn. Marcus and Tazz excuse themselves and walk into the study to talk in private. Marcus explains that Shawn may be the perfect person to replace him when he and Cayce return to 2021. Tazz agrees but feels that his force abilities are untamed and may not be compatible with the green morphers. Marcus nods and then ask how they will know if he can use the morphers. Tazz looks down and thinks a moment before lifting his head. He tells Marcus that the morphing grid should provide the answers. He adds that he is unsure how to access the grid directly. Marcus ask if Tommy or Hayley would know how to. Tazz nods and tells Marcus to have Tommy look into it for him. Marcus agrees and calls Tommy as Tazz walks back out to Shawn. Tazz asks if Shawn can provide any information about Serge and Cheetah to him. Shawn explains that Cheetah captured him the day he arrived in Crystal Bay. He continues by telling Tazz that Serge and Cheetah tried to use a device on him to turn him evil and against the rangers. When the device failed, they turned to torture and finally tried the device again. Tazz ask how he managed to escape. Shawn explains that he knew that he could mask his powers and portray himself as evil. Tazz nods as Shawn tells him about the trickery he pulled in order to escape. Shawn smiles as he finishes and sees the positive reaction from Tazz. Tazz explains to Shawn that the rangers are very secretive about their identities and that they only entrust certain individuals with the knowledge of their identities. Shawn nods as the Ashley, Marcus and Justin walk up behind Tazz. Shawn scratches his head and asks about the fifth ranger. Tazz explains that Cayce is downstairs having an injury taken care of. Shawn nods and relaxes.

While the team talks with Shawn, Serpentine demands Serge to create a monster capable of recapturing Shawn and destroying the rangers. Serge is quick to create his monster and place it into the conversion tank. As he closes the door, a brown recluse spider enters the chamber undetected. Serge turns the chamber on and watches as his monster takes shape. The smoke clears and Serge scratches his head because of what he sees. Standing in the chamber is a seven-foot spider monster. Unsure what happened, he asks Cheetah and Serpentine to decide weather or not the creature is capable of performing the task needed of him. Serpentine enters the room and is highly impressed until Serge explains that the monster was an accident. Serge releases the monster and instructs him to obey Serpentine and Cheetah. Serpentine names the creature Web Slinger and instructs him to attack Crystal Bay immediately. He adds that his objective is to capture Shawn and destroy the rangers. Cheetah releases a group of minions as a diversion in the train yard. Moments later Web Slinger uses the jump portal to land at the karate school and begins his search for Shawn.

Tazz and the other rangers relax with Shawn until Hayley contacts them about the minion attack. Tazz instructs the other three rangers to handle the minions and he and Cayce will be their shortly. Ashley, Justin and Marcus morph, then teleport to the train yard where they find about twenty minions and Cheetah. Tazz takes Shawn down into the base and introduces him to Tommy, Hayley and Cayce. Cayce smiles and tells Tazz she is ready to join the other rangers. Tazz nods and tells her that he feels that the minion attack is not the true threat. Hayley informs Tazz that the same force readings she got from the cloaked figure are the similar to the force readings Shawn gives off. Tazz ask Shawn how hard it is to mask his force powers. Shawn demonstrates his ability to switch his force readings on the equipment. Hayley tells Tazz that with that ability they may be able to free the professor using the same equipment that transformed him. Tazz nods and informs Shawn of the idea. Shawn explains that if he returns to Serpentines lair, Serge will transform him into a monster to attack the team. Tazz nods as the alarm sounds again. Shawn tells Tazz he can help if needed. Tazz notices that the alarm is only for a second wave of minions at the train yard and not cause for alarm.

Tazz tells Shawn that he should be safe from attack inside the house. Shawn explains that he does not want to hide from Serge and his monsters for the rest of his life. Tazz nods and tells him that he understands where he is coming from. He adds that he is free to leave if he wishes. Shawn thanks Tazz and reassures him that he will help them any way he can. As Shawn walks outside the house, Tazz watches the screens. Tazz pauses a moment and then activates his morpher. As the door closes, a jump portal opens and two minions jump out. Web Slinger is quick to arrive and attack Shawn. Tazz waist no time in morphing into his battle suit, he simply forms an X in front of his face as Hayley teleports him outside. Shawn uses a power kick to destroy the two minions as Tazz arrives. Tazz tosses Shawn his force saber as he draws his lightsaber. Tazz and Shawn attack Web Slinger, he reacts with a powerful spray of sticky webbing. Web Slinger orders Tazz to hand Shawn over to him. Shawn yells that he refuses to go anywhere with someone as evil as Cheetah or Serge. Web Slinger is furious and sprays his sticky web from his fingers again. Tazz reacts quickly and uses a force push to send the web in a different direction. Shawn attacks with a spinning heal kick and then fallows with a powerful reverse punch. Web slinger attempts to strike Shawn in the head with his fist, but the punch is blocked easily with a chop block. Shawn uses the block to throw a mule kick and then another reverse punch into Web Slingers gut. Tazz joins in on the attack with a force choke. Tazz uses a lightsaber toss and then throws Web Slinger back to the ground. Shawn and Tazz nod to each other and use a force lightning attack that hits perfectly. They follow up with torpedo kicks into Web Slinger shoulders. As the two land after doing back flips off the rebound, Web Slinger retreats into a jump portal.

Over at the train yard, the other rangers finish off the minions when Web Slinger comes through a jump portal. Cheetah yells at the rangers, as Web Slinger sprays his sticky webbing at them. Cheetah laughs as the rangers struggle to get free of the mess. As Cheetah leaps through a jump portal, Hayley contacts Tazz and informs him that Web Slinger is at the train yard and the other rangers need immediate help. Tazz confirms the information and instructs Cayce to morph and join in on the fight. Shawn speaks up and tells Tazz that he will not wait around in the base with Hayley and Tommy. Tazz tells him that his power is wild but it cannot be deigned. Tazz tosses Shawn the green speed morpher and tells him about the jedi suits. Shawn nods and goes through the morphing sequence motions. Shawn morphs into the jedi suit and the two teleport to the train yard. Shawn, who is wearing the green jedi suit, rushes to help the other rangers free themselves from the webbing. Tazz and Cayce attack Web Slinger with a powerful combination of spin kicks and punches. As Shawn frees the rangers with the jedi saber, Ashley feels a strange power come over her. Marcus and Shawn help Ashley to her feet as Justin joins the attack on Web Slinger. As Ashley struggles to get to her feet, she hears a female voice telling her that she is not alone in her fight. As she turns to her right, she sees the cloaked figure standing beside her. She tells the three that with the combined powers of Shawn, herself and all the rangers, Web Slinger has no chance of defeating them. Ashley feels a deep connection between her and the cloaked figure as the battle gets closer to them. Web Slinger lands a stiff kick into Cayce that pushes her back into the group. Ashley tells Cayce to give the figure her speed morpher to the cloaked figure and to inform Tazz that a group lightning strike can buy them some time. Cayce gets to her feet and hands her morpher to the girl. As she places them on her wrist, Ashley notices the telepathy connection between her and the girl. The cloaked figure morphs into the pink jedi suit and they are quick to join Tazz. As Web Slinger charges the seven of them, Tazz orders a force lightning attack. The attack knocks Web Slinger on his back and gives the rangers a chance to regroup. Web Slinger returns to his feet and charges the rangers again. Marcus and Cayce attack first with their jedi sabers. They strike with precession and are able to land heal kicks as they fly by. Ashley and Justin use Tazz’s shoulders as a springboard to launch torpedo kicks. As they hit Web Slinger’s shoulders, they bounce off and land a back flip that allows them to strike him with their force sabers. Shawn and Tazz are quick to use the backs of Justin and Ashley to attack with lightsabers. The strikes cut into Web Slinger and as they land, Tazz turns to see the girl in the pink jedi suit launch a powerful fireball attack from a force ball.

The rangers regroup and attack again with a force lightning attack that drains almost all of Web Slinger’s powers. Web Slinger attempts to fire a web attack but fails due to his lack of strength. Shawn uses a speed attack to strike Web Slinger for the final time in the chest. Cheetah shows back up through the jump portal and tells the rangers that their fight has just begun. She revives Web Slinger and tells Tazz that he cannot defeat Web Slinger and protect Shawn at the same time. Tazz tells her that he can sure try. Hayley and Tommy teleport the cloaked figure and Shawn back to base. Cheetah snarls at Tazz and disappears through the portal. Hayley tells Tazz that the Jedi Assault Zords are on their way and will be in Megazord form when they arrive. The team enters the cockpit of the Megazord and finds that they are dealing with a recharged monster. Tazz uses the zords shield to block a web attack by the monster and then punches Web Slinger with the zords right fist. Ashley informs Tazz that the jedi blaster is offline and she is unsure why. Tazz is concerned until Justin informs him that it is a safety measure designed to keep them safe. He adds that it overloaded last time they used it and that it will be offline until its power cell recovers. Tazz nods and arms the Megazord with the Jedi Saber. As Web Slinger rushes the rangers, Tazz maneuvers the Megazord to sidestep the monster and strike him in the stomach with the saber as he runs by. The strike flips Web Slinger onto his back and leaves him open for the rangers to finish him off. The team calls for the lighting strike. As the lighting bolt hits the saber, Tazz launches a speed attack that slices straight through the monster. A duel explosion happens as the Megazord comes to a stop.

Back at base Shawn and Hayley greet the rangers. The girl in the cloak stands in the shadows with her hood down. Ashley is amazed when she sees the girl looking back at her. Ashley finally understands why she felt such a connection to the girl during battle. The girl tells Ashley that her name is Danielle Dragonstone and that she is her twin sister. She explains that different families adopted them and that she had only discovered Ashley when she became a ranger and felt the disturbance within herself. Danielle adds that she started looking for Ashley over a year prior when her parents told her she had a sister. Tazz nods and smiles as he tells Shawn and Danielle that he thinks they will make a great addition to the jedi rangers’ team. He nods at Marcus and Cayce as they pull their morphers from their pockets. Tazz explains that his choice to have them take over as the green and pink rangers due to their connection with the force and their bravery against evil forces. Marcus hands Shawn the morpher and thanks him for the great race and he apologizes for the destruction of the Dakota. Shawn smiles and thanks him for being there for him and helping him escape. Cayce hands Danielle the pink morphers and thanks her for helping her realize the importance of trust. Danielle smiles and hugs Cayce. She tells her to be careful with the hand and she feels that her time in 2006 was far from wasted. Ashley turns to Danielle and hugs her. The twin girls marvel over how much they are alike even though they grew up very different lives. Cayce smiles and tells both of the girls that they should take care of each other both as rangers and as sisters. The twins smile at her and thank her. Hayley informs Cayce and Marcus that they should be able to open the wormhole within the next few hours and they should go to the hospital to retrieve all records of Cayce being there. They nod as the other rangers talk quietly.

Nice Job! I just read the first episode. One suggestion: You might want to start off with different things in the sentences. I get bored with Tazz, Tazz, Tazz, Tazz. Justin, Justin, Justin.
