Now I think it was used in earlier Mech attempts, but now? I was looking around wikipedia's page on GouGou Sentai Boukenger and found this:

DaiBouken, if you have seen Boukenger you know that DaiBouken is a robot/mech meaning, DaiBouken and other mecha/zords have been suits?

Dude, the same way they do the monster outfits
except for the gattai scenes and usually the finishers too, all the other scenes with the mechs/zords fighting is a stunt into the robot suit
