I waiting to see the morphing most of all... NOT lol. I am mostly interested in what it shows so i can compare it to other episodes. Just to see how differences between the pilot ep and the other eps can be combined or changed in ways.

I saw some of the pilot ep it was a little cooler because of the actions and the attitude, but the graphics weren't too great.

Ok I've just watched it. This is infact not just the actual episode but the show that Walter Emanuel Jones and Austin St John presented, which was the first time the Pilot Episode Aired. I think that the Zoltar wasn't that good. Maybe that's because of being used to zordon or even other things, but I do think he looked pretty pixelated. Also, what was up with some of the names of the monsters. I don't think I caught goldar's but king sphinx was named Fly Guy o.O And did anyone else thing the volice doing finster didn't fit the character lol. I also noticed that in some parts the dialogue didn't match the lips of the rangers. Obviously Rita's wouldn't of much because they used the Sentai footage for her character, but near the end in the command center, it did seem to not fit the lips' movement.
Overall I think the episode was OK, but i'm definately glad that they changed it to match the sentai's.

Actually, Mini Man, Goldar WAS Flyguy in this pilot.
Wow. The only footage for that that looked good was the Sentai footage, and even that didn't look as good as it did for the regular season. I am SO glad they redid the pilot episode. I don't think PR would exist today if that pilot had aired.
Although, that Command Center was pretty cool. And, Zoltar looked kinda like the MCP from Tron.

Oh I thought it was. But I got confused because when rita made flyguy grow, it actually showed king sphinx first as a giant, and then it showed goldar.

When I watched it I laughed come on the bulk and skull wanabes, Zoltar. That floating head was worse then Zordon. Not to mention it seemed a bit to corney for my taste, all in all a good laugh.

yeah the bulk and skull in this one were a little funny when they were trying to act all hard. I loved it when billy started to count the strikes lol.
