I'd say no with this one. Basically all that was said was that they needed stronger powers to defeat divatox. Also the zords. There was no real origin explained at all behind the development and how they were made as such.

accually it was but it wasnt done in the tv show as well as it was in the movie. the powers came from the combined powers of the little hairy elf guy and zordon. i dont remember all the details but the show trimed it down

they are a combination of the zeo crystals, and that little hairy dudes magical powers plus some of zordons powers...I think...they were created to handle devatox and the stronger monsters.

that's what I thought. AT first i only really got the impression that Divatox had located Larigo to use him to get through the bemuda triangle. I didn't realise he had anything to do with the rangers.

The Turbo powers were created for them to cross the Nemesis Triangle, putting their keys of the morphers together into the ship when they were about to cross the Triangle
but never was said the zeo powers are gone, but it really looked like the turbo powers were an upgrade of the zeo powers

I suppose Larigo would of had to of had some sort of connection with the powers if the keys allowed them to pass through the triangle. That would make sense. |

Obviously there is the fact that it is called 'Turbo' which is related to cars in a way but it still would of been nice to have known. |

well remember all PR footage comes from Japan...saban used what he was given to make each season. if you go by PR then Turbo is an increase in power from zeo and the zeo morphers were changed into the turbo key and morpher. if you go by japan zeo and turbo are two diffrent teams and two diffrent stories all together. the use of cars was the second time that SS used the idea...first in their turborangers and then in carrangers. we took carrangers and made it turbo

As I have always seen it like you guys. It seemed that the Turbo Powers were upgrades of the Zeo ones. Since they never mentioned what powered them. And also since they have always told us before that how they work, and where the power comes from. So I have always seen them as upgraded Turbo Powers.
