seeing that i dont get to watch the episodes and only get to see what they post on other sites i would like there to be a continuous discution about each episode. please entertain this idea. im currently kindof up to speed on the first 5 episodes but the second 5 i have no clue about.

yes ranger central has not posted the screen capture recap of these yet and then they will have gate keeper too tomarrow...just quick recaps will work fine...also why is it that both 2 parters sence the begining one have had a dead week inbetween them? (gatekeeper will be on the 8th and 22nd)

Legendary Catastros

March 20, 2006

The teens were gathered around the crystal ball at Root Core. Udonna: Gather round Rangers and hear the story of the beast stallion, whose strength was known across the land, the legendary Catastros. A ghostly horse leaped from the crystal ball and through the teens. The teens gasped. Udonna: Many have tried in vain, to break the mightiest creature of them all. But Catastros was stronger than a hundred men, and no one was able to harness his fierce some power. Udonna continued when the great battle of evil broke out, Koragg had captured Catastros and Catastros has been loyal to Koragg every since. The teens were spooked by the story, even thought Chip wanted to hear it again. The lights flickered off for a moment. When the lights came back on, Vida was holding Xander in her arms. Xander told her it was just because he wanted to make sure Vida was all right. Clare walks in, feeling refreshed after a brain storm. The teens laugh and giggle. Clare laughs along, although she doesn't realize they are laughing at her because she has cream on her head. Madison finally tells her, and Clare panics, as she is allergic to cream. Clare tells Nick the spell to correct it and he does. Meanwhile, in the underworld, Morticon wants to be free once more. Koragg tells him when the Rangers sent him back, they took back the megazord power. Necrolai overhears them and knows Koragg is lying. After Koragg leaves, Necrolai tells Morticon that Koragg still has the power. Morticon becomes furious and decides to teach Koragg a lesson. Morticon gives Necrolai a bow and sends her after Koragg. Necrolai is more than happy to do so. That night, Nick has a bad dream which starts with him on his bike and ends up with him riding Catastros. The following day, Nick arrives at Rock Porium late. Vida teases Nick that he was scare of the thunderstorm and couldn't sleep. The teens' morphers go off and they all leave, before Toby is even aware that they are gone. The teens soon spot Koragg in megazord. The teens morph and form the dragon. The Rangers battled Koragg, but Koragg soon has them on the ground and apart. Necrolai arrives unseen. Necrolai fires an arrow and it hits Koragg. Koragg becomes furious with Necrolai and decides to go after her, instead of the Rangers. Koragg casts a spell to leave. Red Mystic Titan leaps up and tries to stop Koragg from leaving. Red Ranger lands in another dimension and demorphs, not knowing where he is.

Nick tries to contact his friends, but he gets no response on his morpher. Nick is soon trying to outrun Catastros, who is also in the same dimension. Catastros chases Nick throughout the dimension. Meanwhile, Xander, Vida, Chip, and Madison raced inside Root Core, calling out for Udonna. They tell Udonna what has happen, and Udonna tells them Nick try to break the evil seal, he was sent into another dimension, but she does not know which one. Vida, Chip, Madison, and Xander try the crystal ball, but the crystal ball shows them nothing. Chip, Madison, Xander, and Vida leave Root Core and walk through the woods. Vida has a hard time with the idea that Nick is gone. The teens are dejected. Phineas overhears them talking about Nick and pops up in front of them. Phineas introduces himself to the teens and asks about Nick. They tell him and Phineas believes they have given up on Nick. After listening to Phineas, the teens realize they can't give up on Nick. The teens leave to start finding Nick, and Madison thanks Phineas for his help. Phineas is thrilled to have made new friends. In the other dimension, Nick is in danger of being trample by Catastros.

Instead of trampling Nick, Catastros lies down. Nick is about to run away, but realizes Catastros is hurt. Nick tries to use his wand to help heal Catastros, but nothing works. Meanwhile, at Root Core, Xander and Chip try various spells on the crystal ball, trying to get the crystal ball to reveal where Nick is. None of the spells works. Vida finds out if you say the spell backwards, it would release Nick. The teens try desperately to remember what the spell was that Koragg had spoken. In the under world, Koragg is ready to tear Necrolai to pieces. Necrolai tells Koragg that she was only working on orders from Morticon. Koragg and Morticon battle until a reddish glow emerges from the hole in the ground. Both Morticon and Koragg did not want to upset the Master, so they stop battling. Koragg tells Morticon that he cannot give him the Rangers' combining power, because he has given it to another warrior. Koragg sends the warrior to draw out the Rangers. At Root Core, the crystal ball shows the teens the monster. They get ready to go into battle, with all the pressure on Chip to try and said the spell backwards. The four Rangers arrive in the city and began to battle the monster. In the other dimension, Nick feels compassion for Catastros and tells him he wishes he could help him. Nick's morpher begins to glow. Nick tries the spell once more, and this time it works, and Catastros is heal. Nick climbs onto Catastros' back and they ride off together. Back in Briarwood, the four Rangers call for their Mystic Titans. Even with the Mystic Titans, the Rangers are knocked to the ground. Yellow Ranger remembers the spell and said it backwards correctly. A seal appears in the other dimension, and Nick and Catastros are free. Red Mystic Titan rides along the back of Catastros, much to the shock of Koragg. Red Mystic Titan and Catastros combine to make a zord. They battle the warrior and defeat it. Meanwhile, at Root Core, Udonna watches the Rangers progress, pleased to see Catastros on the side of the Rangers. With the warrior defeated, the Rangers combining power if returned to them. The Rangers are thrilled, but their happiness is short lives, as Catastros suddenly bucks Red Mystic Titan off his back and returns to Koragg. Koragg faces Red Mystic Titan and tells him there is something different about him, and then leaves.

Later, Nick and Udonna walk in the woods. Nick tells Udonna he believes Catastros helped them, because he helped them. Udonna agrees and tells Nick the next time they run into Catastros, Catastros will be their enemy once more. Nick is relieved about being release from the other dimension. Udonna tells Nick how his friend Phineas had helped the Rangers. Nick still can't believe his life involves having a half troll, half goblin for a friend and fighting evil. Udonna tells Nick that she is very proud of him.

BMR's Comments: Personally this is one of my favorites. Since it is a horse one. And I love horses (lol) Plus Chip is hillarious in parts of this episode. And the fact that Nick combines with Catastros. Also it was well played out. All and all a personal favorite of mine

Fire Heart

A man is walking through Briarwood and talking on his cell phone. Man: Yes Professor, I have the map. And it's more fascinating than we ever dream. I'm on my way. The man hails a taxi and gets in. The man tells the driver: Metropolitan Museum and hurry. The cab driver turns around, and his face is a scary. The man screams and tumbles out of the taxi, leaving the map on the seat of the taxi.

Inside Rock Porium, Xander is on a chair, rolling up and down as he commands his friends to keep stocking. Vida, Madison, Chip, and Nick are not to thrill. Toby brings out a life size cardboard cutout of heavy metal star, Jake Bonebreaker. Toby is impressed with Xander's management skills and Xander is thrilled. Toby asks them how they like the cutout, and none of them know who the person is. Toby tells them, but they are not impressed. Toby wants Xander to be in charge of Jake Bonebreaker. After Toby leaves, Xander tries to talk Vida, Madison, Chip, and Nick into taking care of Jake Bonebreaker, but none of them want the job. Xander decides to take care of it himself. Xander casts a spell and turns the cardboard cutout into the real thing. The teens' morphers go off. Udonna tells them there is a surge of darkness. The teens cannot all leave Toby. Nick decides he and Vida will leave. Xander, Chip, and Madison is stuck with Jake Bonebreaker, who needs some prunes. Meanwhile, Necrolai finds the map in the taxi, and is thrilled to have the map in her possession. Nick and Vida race to the scene, but all they find is an abandoned Taxi. To their surprise, the taxi turns into a monster. Nick and Vida battle the monster, but they cannot defeat it. Vida and Nick morphed and continue the battle. Red Ranger and Pink Ranger are knocked to the ground, and they are surprised when Necrolai reveals herself to them. Back at Rock Porium, Jake Bonebreaker is scaring away all the customers. Xander tries to get Jake to be quiet before Toby hears him, but it is too late. Toby is thrilled that Jake Bonebreaker is in his store. Toby hurries to his office to get his camera. Xander's, Madison's, and Chip's morphers go off, Nick and Vida are in trouble. Xander tries one last spell, and Jake Bonebreaker is reverted back to the cardboard cutout. Xander, Madison, and Chip race out the door. Toby returns and can't believe Jake is a cardboard cutout and thinks he is losing his mind. Deciding to make the best of things, Toby takes a picture of himself and the cutout Jake Bonebreaker. Blue Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Green Ranger arrive to help out Red Ranger and Pink Ranger. Necrolai doesn't give the Rangers any opportunities, as she blasts the Rangers. The monster reverts back to a taxi. Necrolai takes off, after telling the Rangers she will soon have more power. The Rangers are about to go after her, when they notice the security camera. At Root Core, the teens and Udonna are watching the security camera tape. Udonna tells them they need to be careful and keep their identities a secret. Madison notices something in Necrolai's hands and, using magic, enlarges the image. The enlarge image shows Necrolai holding a map. Madison uses magic and a copy of the map appears. Udonna recognizes it at once, as the map to Fire Heart, which contains great power. The teens will have to travel through the dangerous Cimmerian Forest. The teens joke around and Udonna snaps at them. Udonna warns the teens that this will be their most dangerous mission yet. The teens enter the Cimmerian Forest. Chip is thrilled with the forest, Madison is not. Xander tells Nick he should lead them through the forest, since he is a born leader. Nick lets Xander have the map. Xander puts Plan Xander into action.

The teens continue walking through the forest, although they have an uneasy feeling someone is watching them. Phineas suddenly appears and offers to help them. Nick, Madison, Vida, and Chip are ready to take Phineas' offer, but Xander is reluctant to give up his leader role. Xander insists he knows the way, and his friends reluctantly follow him. After some time, Nick points out to Xander that they had passed a fallen stump three times. Nick wants Xander to admit he doesn't know where he is going. Xander refuses. Xander and Nick argue, until Chip points out they are sinking. The teens try to use their morphers to get out, but the morphers don't work. Nick, Vida, Chip, Xander, and Madison are waist deep in swamp mud. The teens desperately begin pulling themselves, and helping their friends out. They manage to get out of the sinking swamp mud, but the map is not so lucky and goes under. Xander tells his friends not to worry, he has memorize the map. None of his friends are reassured. Meanwhile, Necrolai, with a group of Hidiacs, are making their way through the Cimmerian Forest. Two of the Hidiacs get pulled up into a giant spider web. Necrolai tries to use her magic to free them, but her magic doesn't work as well. Necrolai decides to leave the two Hidiacs where they are. Necrolai, and the Hidiacs behind her, continue their hunt for the Fire Heart. The teens continue to make their way through the forest. Phineas pops up again and offers them help. Xander refuses Phineas' help. Nick has had enough and decides to follow Phineas. Vida does the same. Madison and Chip are about to join them, when Xander makes them a deal. Xander promises Madison and Chip that he will cover two shifts if they stay with him. Chip and Madison agree and stay with Xander. The group splits up. Phineas soon has Nick and Vida out of the forest. Nick and Vida are thrilled. Phineas returns to the forest. Xander, Madison, and Chip make their way through the forest. Xander is thrilled when they come to the end of the forest. Madison and Chip are relieved. Suddenly, a giant web falls on them. Chip, Xander, and Madison are trapped in the web and a huge spider is coming towards them.

Madison and Xander don't know what to do. Chip suggests that they scream. Meanwhile, Nick and Vida continue with their journey and eventually find something sparkling in the distance. Vida decides to test if they still have their powers. Vida does a powerful wind, that uncovers a locked chest. Vida cannot open it. Nick decides it's his turn. Nick uses his morpher and unlocks the chest. Nick and Vida discover a paper - the secret to the Fire Heart. Suddenly Nick and Vida are blasted off their feet, and the paper flies through the air. Necrolai has the paper. Necrolai has several Hidiacs attack. Vida and Nick battled the Hidiacs and Necrolai. Nick and Vida decide to morph. Red Ranger and Pink Ranger continue the battle. Necrolai has had enough and calls for her taxi to take her away. Pink Ranger races over and prevents Necrolai from entering the taxi. Red Ranger races towards the taxi and blasts it. Back in the forest, Madison, Chip, and Xander are still in danger. Xander apologizes to his friends. Phineas appears and lures the giant spider away and into a trap. Phineas returns and starts to free the teens. Xander asks Phineas if he would lead them out of the forest, and Phineas replies that it would be his honor. Pink Ranger and Red Ranger continue to battle the taxi monster and Necrolai. The rest of the Rangers arrive. The Rangers battle and destroy the taxi monster. Koragg will not accept defeat and using magic, brings back the taxi monster. The taxi monster also grows larger. The Rangers go Mystic Titan and battled the taxi monster. The Rangers form the Mystic Titan Megazord and destroy the taxi monster. Necrolai is about to take off, when Pink Ranger stops her. Pink Ranger and Necrolai battle for the paper that tells the secret of the Fire Heart. As they struggle, the paper tears in two. Pink Ranger is upset, but the rest of the Rangers are glad to have at least one half of the paper. Necrolai is angry and flies away.

The following day, at Rock Porium, Xander apologizes to his friends. Chip, Madison, Vida, and Nick accept. Jake Bonebreaker walks in, telling them his bus has broke down. Madison, Vida, Nick, Xander, and Chip tell Jake that their boss is his biggest fan. The teens call out to Toby. Toby pops his head out, notices Jake, and tells the teens he is not falling for that again. Toby goes back into his office. The teens and Jake Bonebreaker are disappointed. Meanwhile, in the pit, Morticon is furious to only have one half of the map of the Fire Heart. Necrolai tells Morticon not to worry. Necrolai has a new plan, she plans on attacking the Rangers from within.

BMR's Comment: A good solid episode. But they seriously focused on Nick, and Vida a bit to much. Besides that it was pretty funny. And action filled. Just should have focused more on all the rangers.

(I'll post the next one soon. But I haven't found an episode summary for them yet. I may just make one of my own. But we'll have to see.)

Stranger Within, Part I

Nick is closing up Rock Porium when Leelee squeezes through the door. Leelee wants Nick to come with her to see DJ Fly. Nick tells Leelee he can't. Xander and Vida are there as well. Xander walks up and tells Leelee he would like to go. Leelee reluctantly agrees. Xander is thrilled, but Nick puts an end to it by telling Leelee that Xander can't go either. Xander is dismayed. Nick reminds him that they have to find out the secret of the Fire Heart. Vida walks around and takes a look at the flyer Leelee is holding. Leelee is surprise Vida has not heard of DJ Fly. Vida wants to go with Leelee, but Nick tells Vida she can't. Nick escorts Leelee to the front door, reminding Vida that she has plans as well. Nick and Xander start to leave as well. Vida stays behind, telling the guys she will catch up later.

Vida attends DJ Fly's show with Leelee. Vida becomes entranced with the music. Leelee receives a call on her cell phone, it's her mom wanting her to come home. Leelee tries to talk her mom into letting her stay, but her mom refuses. Leelee tells Vida she has to go, and Vida is ready to leave with her. Leelee tells Vida to stay, at least one of them should be able to enjoy the show. Leelee leaves and Vida stays, becoming hypnotized by DJ Fly, who is really Flytrap. The following evening, at Root Core, Nick, Madison, Chip, and Xander are going through several books, trying to figure out the puzzle of the torn scroll. Vida strolls in very casually. The rest of the teens give her a hard time, but Vida tells them they are overreacting. Nick clenches his head in pain. Koragg has issued a challenge. The teens raced into the woods where several Hidiacs come out of hiding. Much to the amazement of Madison, Chip, Xander, and Nick, Vida takes on the Hidiacs on her own. Displaying impressive strength, Vida soon has the Hidiacs destroyed. Chip, Xander, Nick, and Madison race over to Vida to praise her. Koragg appears out of the woods. The teens go Mystic Titan and Koragg becomes his zord. The Rangers and Koragg battle. The battle goes well until the sun rises. Pink Mystic Titan suddenly becomes weak and falls. Demorphing on the way, Vida lands on the ground and is very weak. Her friends are puzzled. Koragg taunts the Rangers on how weak they are when one falls. Koragg tells them he will fight them when they are worthy. Koragg walks away and the Rangers demorph and race to Vida's side. The next day, at Rock Porium, the guys question Leelee about what had happened the previous night. Leelee tells them she couldn't stay at DJ Fly's show as her mom wanted her home. Madison and Vida enter Rock Porium. Vida is acting strangely, although she reassures everyone that she is okay, just a little light sensitive. Vida walks away from the group. Madison, Nick, and Xander are concerned. Chip takes out his "How To Spot a Vampire" book and starts reading. With her back towards her friends, Vida removes her sunglasses. Vida's eyes are blood red.

At the pit, Morticon gives Koragg a hard time about not finishing off the Rangers. Koragg tells Morticon he will battle with honor and only when the Rangers are at full strength. Necrolai has no issues with honor and continues with her plans. At Root Core, Vida joins the rest of her friends. They are concern, but Vida reassures them that she feels great. Chip offers her a drink, filled with red liquid. Vida takes the drink eagerly and begins drinking. Vida quickly spits out the tomato juice. Chip asks Vida if she thought it was blood. Chip tells Xander, Nick, and Madison that all the clues point to Vida being a vampire. Vida is worried, until Nick, Madison, and Xander bust up laughing. Chip is disappointed. Madison, Xander, and Nick leave Root Core. With their backs to each other, Vida tells Chip that he was right, she is a vampire. Vida goes after Chip. Chip holds up a garlic glove, that keeps Vida back. Chip is happy to realize that he is right, but also knows that he has to do something to help his friend. That night, Chip and Vida sit together as Chip pours over the information that he has. Chip is trying to find a way to help his friend, and at the same time trying to stop Vida from attacking. Vida protests that she can't help herself. Chip feels they need to go to DJ's Fly's show, as that is when the trouble started. Chip wants to enlist the help of their friends, but Vida tells him they already think he is off his rocker. Vida wants to get more information first and then tell their friends. Chip agrees. Chip and Vida head off for DJ Fly's show. Vida and Chip enter DJ Fly's show. After a few moments, Chip tells Vida that she is much better than DJ Fly. Chip notices that Vida is in a trance. Chip takes a look around and notices that everyone is in a trance. Soon it appears, that Chip is in a trance as well. Necrolai approaches from behind and tells Vida she has done well, bringing her another Ranger. Before Necrolai can do anything, Chip reveals that he has been wearing ear plugs and is unaffected by the music. Chip and Necrolai battle. Chip soon finds out that garlic glove is not powerful enough to keep Necrolai at bay. Chip morphs and the battle continues. Necrolai decides to send the teens out to attack the rest of Briarwood. Necrolai tells Flytrap to destroy the girl. Necrolai leaves. Flytrap blasts at Vida, but Yellow Ranger leaps in front of Vida and takes the blow. Yellow Ranger demorphs and falls to the floor. Vida snaps out of her trance and is upset to see that Chip is hurt.

Vida races to Chip's side and relieve that Chip is okay. Vida tells Chip that he shouldn't have taken the blow for her. Chip tells her he had to and reminds her of the time, when they were kids, that he wore his superhero costume to school and the kids laugh. Vida stuck up for Chip and they have been friends every since. Meanwhile, Madison, Nick, and Xander enter Root Core. Udonna is there as well. Nick, Xander, and Madison laugh as they tell Udonna Chip's theory that Vida is a vampire. The laughter ends when Udonna takes what Chip had said seriously. Madison plays the tape she had made earlier in the day. Xander, Madison, and Nick are stunned to see that Vida cast no reflection in the tape, confirming what Chip had told them. Madison, Nick and Xander race out of Root Core to stop Flytrap. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger arrive in the city, soon followed by the rest of the Rangers. Pink Ranger assures the rest of the Rangers that she is okay. Flytrap and several teen vampires are in the city. Flytrap sets the vampire teens on the Rangers. The Rangers focus their efforts on Flytrap. The Rangers battle Flytrap and soon the battle escalates to zords. With their zord, the Rangers destroy Flytrap. The sun comes up, and the vampire teens are back to normal. Vida, Madison, Chip, Nick and Xander are thrilled that everything has returned to normal.

The following day, the teens are working at Rock Porium. Music is playing and Vida and Leelee start dancing. Chip is trying to get Nick interested in joining his club. Chip shows Nick the various items you get for joining the club. Chip shows Nick the vampire chalk, telling him no vampire can get out of the circle, once it's drawn with the vampire chalk. Chip starts to draw a circle around Vida and Leelee. Leelee steps out, claiming she doesn't want her expensive shoes ruined with the chalk. Chip finishes the circle around Vida. Xander calls over and asks Vida if they have something in stock. Vida goes to get in, but she cannot leave the circle chalk. A great bolt of energy goes through Vida. Madison, Xander, Nick, and Chip stared at Vida in horror, Vida is still a vampire.

Good episode not my favorite but it was enjoyable. Also the thing with Vida being a vampire was vreepy but the actress did a good job bringing out the character.

Guys if you look in the Media section i made a Mystic Force download section it is up to date with all the episodes so far. and i will continue to keep it up to date.
