What did you guys think of The Gatekeeper, Part 1?
Episode Summary:
To free Morticon from the Pit permanently, the gate that sealed them must be unlocked. The forces of the Underworld need to find the current posessor of the powers of the Gatekeeper, and that happens to be none other than the often inept sorceress' apprentice, Clare! With Udonna captured by Koragg and the Rangers facing defeat by Necrolai, can Clare claim her mother's legacy? Both the forces of good AND evil hope so!
(dicuss your opinion of it.)

This episode was real Madison and Nick the best example in my opinion.
1. When fighting Necrolai, the fell together.
2. They jumped on the roof of the building together
3. They attacked together
Do you see my point?
Anyways Udonna being Clare's aunt was a twist making it impossible for Nick to be Udonna' son, but Koragg is still open for parenthood.

Yeah I think that Koragg will be his father. But I have to agree it may not be Udonna. And I have to agree with that Nick, and Madison really showed a connection in this episode. I wonder how far Disney will go.

they could always go with the japan way and make them all related to eachother but that isnt likely with that group

Doubt that would work since they all are fairly different.
Back to the subject. (lol) I think it was actually a good idea they had Clare as the gatekeeper she really amazed me at how she pulled it off.

I'm glad disney kept the extention of the staff, though it didn't make sense to go from a city, to an open field/side of a cliff. And to me it seemed Clare was more powerful than Lunajel, which scared the Fink out of me.................as Lunajel is a Tenkuu Daiseijel (Heavenly Saint I think that's how you say it)

There´s only one Tenkuu Daiseigel, which is Magiel
Lunagel is a Tenkuu Seigel (like Isamu and Hiraku, Raigel (Meemy) etc)
back to the topic, finally some interesting stuff in MF I just love how they badly edited Magiranger´s scenes and we could see Chip holding his crossbow without even using it before, lol
But I liked the episode, I couldn´t believe when a friend of mine said Leelee is looking like Tori, and I hate to admit but that´s true, but even with the different hair Leelee is so far away from Tori...and I went off topic again
I really don´t like the way magic is used in MF, it´s too childish (no offense) the simple fact that Clare just put the thing in her head and knows she´s the gatekeeper makes her so much stronger? Also, Koragg said Udonna is weak without her snow staff, so the magic items make people stronger? that´s so far away from the concept of 'overflowing courage changes into magic' used in Magiranger, which was very cool
Lol I can´t hold myself anymore...I spend more time talking about the bad parts of the episode, I must change it...but as I said, nice episode and good original scenes here, I liked how Nick and Madison jumped backwards and attacked together, and the group attack was very cool too

i was going to mention that bit about Leelee looking like Tori alot. For a moment i did think it was her but then right after I knew it wasn't lol.

Well since the part where it showed that guy in the gate and clares mom had to lock him in the underworld and i am really sure that clares mom was married or the girl friend of the guy, cause she didnt want to lock him in you could tell by that and the ring in part 2 that Udonna lifted from the box... in the box was the head thing for the gate keeper (clares mom) and then she lifted up a ring.. i think the ring is Koraggs..and im guessing he has something to do with clare..

could be. I know this isn't this episode but wouldn't that have been clare as the baby that the person is holding when Udonna has the flashback?
