Prologue:

In times where life has become a dull wasteland, when thrill is only attained by causing it, when power becomes the downfall of humanity, 3 teens risk their lives for fun. They begin to play a game with fate, as their destinies began to change forever. After years of searching they have found what they claim to live for, the Bakufuu Juuhou, ancient relics formed at the dawn of the earth. They appear to be nothing more than mere children’s toys, but the truth shall soon be revealed to the world. What will unfold for these 3 friends? Adventure, anguish, happiness; or, perhaps pain as the Bakufuu Juuhou begin to awaken, so shall evil. For the future of man kind will there be, thrill, adventure, and possibly a new light, or a new darkness. Quench your thirst for excitement, and purity, Shoot Bakufuu Sentai HouRanger!

Shot 1: Load the Gun

“Thank you good bye now.” said Kira, a young brown haired male standing at about 5’7’’. He then began to walk off beginning to catch up with his brother, Kenji, and his friend, Mami. “Why didn’t you wake me up Onii-chan?” He questioned looking at his older brother, whom had black hair and stood at 5’9’’. “You’re 15 you should be able to wake yourself up baka.” He told him with a serious look on his face. “Don’t be so hard on him Ken; I’m sure you were the same at that age right?” Mami said trying to help Kira as he felt a little embarrassed. “Actually I wasn’t I was up way before I was supposed to be working so him and I could survive.” He said looking at Kira. “Well sorry I only 13 it’s not like I couldn’t move out!” He told his brother in an upset tone.

“Arise, Death God Jinar!” A hooded figure shouted, “Soon the destined shall be here and the Bakufuu Hou will awaken, once that happens murder the warriors so that evil shall once again cause the hearts of man to quiver before the Hell Hou!” The figure then disappeared into darkness, as the monster that was left began to linger among the shadows of Jinji.

“You think this is it?” Kira asked looking at a gate that seemed royal and majestic. “Only one way to tell.” Mami said in a clam voice as she began to push the gate open. Soon with the help of Kira and Kenji the gate had been opened and a dark city that seemed to have been permanently cut off from the soon was now in view. “Jinji, Guardian City” could be read on a small sign that you couldn’t miss because it used the only light in the city just to make it visible. “It’s really dark here.” Kenji pointed out looking around.

“Hey I think I see a cave from here!” Kira exclaimed as he pointed up towards a cave that seemed to stand out in the urbanisms of the city. “You think they could be there?” Mami asked the two boys. “In your words, only one way to tell.” Kenji said as he began towards the cave. They finally reached the cave and once again saw an illuminated sign this time it read, “Hikari no Jinji”. They pressed towards the cave feeling around the walls to find a way to their goal.

Upon nearing what seemed to be a small amount of light, the three arrived at a door. “I think we found it!” Mami exclaimed pushing the door open. As the seemingly ancient gate opened, the three were cut-off from each other. They had each been placed in what seemed to be a maze. Slowly they each advanced in the labyrinth, staying cautious at every turn. Kenji, seemingly calm, quickly found a small box that he picked up and began to turn around in the maze. Mami thought about Kira and Kenji and walked where she heard footsteps and found a second small box.

Kira had been lost and liked it. He thought about how good it felt and quickly found a box, just as the other two. Once the three had become comfortable with the maze fate took a sudden turn. The maze seemed to change trapping the group in a state of confusion and fear. But, of all of them Kira should fear the most for little did he know it a Demon God was hot in pursuit of the adventurous young boy.

“Onii-chan, Mami, where are you guys?” Kira said as he began to panic. Kira then heard footsteps near, he pressed toward them thinking it was Kenji. He twisted and turned in the labyrinth walls until he came to an open point seemingly like a courtyard. “What…………is this?” Kira said observing what seemed to be the center of the maze as many paths lead to this one point. Upon stepping in the center, a great darkness had taken hold of Kira. He could no longer see what was neither in front of him nor behind him.

Kenji and Mami on the other hand, had found an exit to the labyrinth after meeting up together. “Hey where’s Kira?” Kenji asked Mami looking around for his little brother. “I don’t know I thought he was with you!” Mami exclaimed. In that split second, presumably destiny didn’t want our heroes together, a great rumble shook the earth. Many stones blocked the entrance into the labyrinth as well as the internal exit, Kira was trapped inside with no hope of getting out, or even escaping from whatever tragedy had now befallen him,…………..while Kenji and Mami where trapped outside, having to face the truth that Kira may never be seen again. What will happen next time on Bakufuu Sentai HouRanger?
