i see...well how about shedding some light on something. in history is it ever mentioned by dino thunder or spd how the dino crystals were lost by the rangers?

Absutely no, Broodwing said their Dino Gems were found in the planet Onyx (or something like that) and their power is famous throughtout the galaxy

my guess is that after defeating mesagog they must have hid the dino gems then someone found them and sold them on onyx

No idea how the Dino Gems got the the planet Onyx. I've got one way of how they got there, which I'll put in my fic, but canon-wise? Maybe one of the aliens that comes to Earth between DT and SPD found them and took them to the planet.
