Everyone knows my feelings towards the staffing of RT, particularly the higher ups. Since, I am retired, I have made a vow to myself to severely limit my activity on RT to just 5 threads or so at the most. Nonetheless, I saw this excellent post by JM

And I just had to make a thread here to give him kudos for it! I've been doing things like this for the longest time and I am pretty sure that its what got the administration on my ass to make a conspiracy to demod me.

Eitherway, the points made in this post of JM's are straightforward and I hope that it inspires more members at RT to speak up. Good job JM. You know you have my support if you need it!

i apriciate that DC i feel that Mike in preticular is the one that needs to address those issues and only he can change the way people there feel...I also feel that he needs to cut the staff loose there and start over...maybe it will make the board feel like a community again.

while this thread is important and i know that my comments are justified i feel that this will cause others to not want to join.

Yeah, I think that new mod on the block statement definitely stung. Nice touch. You know if I were still a mod or not retired, I'd definitely be in that thread backing you up. I remember that there was one point where I was trying to get the rest of the staff to drop their signatures just so everyone could be equal.

Anyways, I'm proud of you JM. So does this mean you are banned from RT? Since thats what it says under your username..

ok i just had to say this...while i think rangertalk was a little on the harsh side i just had a long pm session with MIKE on AIM. He told me that what i said was very well thought out and very truethful. He also told me that he really payed attention to what i said and now that jedixtalk.com is up there are some major diffrences. i hope that it doesnt get as bad as rangertalk.com...for now i will continue to post there.

update. while sigs are currently still avilble for staff they will be removed soon...Mike says he hates sigs and that he does not truely want them on his board,

personally i like sigs..its an easy way to advertise your site. but hey its his board. I am also happy to see a much smaller staff and the removal of one preticular staff member.
